A sci-fi web series inspired by psychological thrillers, anime, and the humans are space orcs genre. It heavily focuses on the themes of destiny, relationships, war and identity. And humour, lots of humour.  We encourage Asks and Messages from people who are interested in our production. XD

We’ve been inactive for a while because of work realated stuff on my part and juggling animation and drawing with long summer work days.

But we have nearly the entire 1st ep finished in the sketch phase. And have started doing more inking.

We’re still looking for actors. Especially for the main cast.

Teaser Trailer Update

After some delays we finally have the teaser ready for release to our YouTube channel and other things.

It’s out on Friday! We’ll put it up here too.

I’m super happy with how it turned out and that we can start working on auditions next week.

How do you animate?

I use Sketchbook Pro. It has a flip book function, but it’s really simple and only allows for 2 layers and a background. 

I usually do the sketch on the first layer and then the line art on the one above. I then rub out the sketch and colour on that layer.

If it’s a really complicated shot it’s a bit different, but I basally animate the different elements separately and add them as a layer and repeat until I've got the shot.

I’m planning on showing how I do it in a behind the scenes, because even though it’s really frustrating with the lack of layers and can get a little complicated, it’s really fun.

quick little update, the first teaser trailer to announce voice actor auditions is almost finished and will be up here on Tumblr as well as our new Youtube channel and Twitter.

We’re mostly just finishing off the music and a few difficult animation pieces from scenes with no dialogue.

May Production update

Hello everyone!

Production is still going slower than we’d like due to some technical difficulties, but we’re aiming to get a trailer for the first episode out by the end of June and open auditions for remaining characters before then, since we’re pretty short on actors.

Hopefully we can put together some more behind the scenes content as work on the episode progresses, maybe even some character spotlights.

Production update: April

Hello, sorry for the silence folks.

Due to the effects of the virus, production has slowed, but is still going.

We have been unable to meet in person due to restrictions, so storyboarding has been halted for now, but our independent responsibilities have been happening behind the scenes from our homes.

Episode 1 is about 2/3′s through the first stage of animation, before voice work is applied; the whole first scene is ready to be voiced and parts towards the end of the episode.

Molly has been compiling and composing some music, such as what we put up a few weeks ago and a few actors have been found to possibly play some minor characters, such as Youah’s sister, Mo’an, Bo (Youahs father), Adelaide's cat (yeah, we cast the cat before her) and young Rubr. 

There’s some more art on the way as well out of the sketch book and we’re hoping to have open auditions for literally anyone.

Hope all of you are safe, all your questions and support means a lot.

Charles Armitage

Age: 32

Profession: doctor/biologist

Close friends: Matias, Amanda, Deshawn

Aside from Deshawn and Minna to some extent, he is the only crew member with medical knowledge. He is a real doctor and dedicated his time to studying alien biology to better help their allies.

He’s Deshawn’s mentor and tends to be the Cool-but-within-reason Uncle towards the younger crew members.

For Beth, Who is the hardest character to draw?

There’s a character called Marr, and I find her really hard to draw the same over and over again, she has lots of scales. 

That and animals.
