Like of course the Spirit of Fire who could never be truly content with what he had would burn to death whilst ensuring his sons would continue his legacy of vengeance. Of course Finrod friend to all no matter the divide bleeds out in a dungeon defending the love between elf and man. Of course Fingon famed for constantly taking risks eventually runs out of luck and gets buried in the mud like any other common soldier. They may all be doomed but the way it manifests in each character is calculated and perfectly tailored and the only way it was ever gonna end
