I know I said storytime soon like two months ago but like I lowkey I forgo- Girl who are you talking to nobody looks at your posts. But I'm here now and ready to deliver! Also apologies for not making it look aesthetic, I just couldn't be bothered.
Okay so a long long time ago (like two months ago) I was a baby shifter just like you who hadn't shifted yet. But then, I mastered all four elements: Visualizing, affirming, subliminals and scripting. And after training for so long... I BECAME THE MASTER SHIFTER!
Jk that was my rendition of a joke. The actual "process" wasn't hard and it was pretty boring. I put process in quotations because shifting/manifesting is instant. And I know you've heard this thousands of times but I'll make it a thousand + 1: YOU decide your reality. YOU decide the rules. YOU decide if you shift/manifest instantly or not.
Now I've also heard that advice plenty of times before but I never applied it to myself (curse you undiagnosed ADHD and procrastination). But one day I genuinely just got fed up with constantly being Potential Woman™. Always wanting it, always desiring, always knowing that I have power within but never actually using it and having my desires.
So I didn't do anything major. I just stuck to one general affirmation or rather intention: I can shift whenever I want and the 3d catches up instantly. I chose this to remove the stress and anticipation of shifting at night because that's the only time my mind isn't so occupied with my 3d and stuff happening around me.
I didn't robotic affirmations because I physically cannot focus on something for five minutes. I only said it to myself when I felt I had doubt. Most of the time I was visualizing #maladaptivedaydreaming, pretending to either be in my DR and thinking like my DR self or be an influencer that gives manifesting advice and telling my success story. (Side note: have conversations with yourself and make it sound natural. It doesn't have to be perfect, just talk like you'd talk with a friend)
So I did this for about a week and I forced myself to get into that master shifter mindset. I immediately shut down my doubts because I had a big problem with never following through and instantly giving up so this was important to me. What motivated me was the fear I'll waste my life away constantly wondering and dreaming, but never having. Also I'd be so pissed with myself knowing how simple is but never putting it into action.
The moment you all actually care about: The shift itself
It was a Saturday and that night I had the urge to shift to my MHA DR (big shoutout to my goat @hanashin. This lady is the sole reason why I even wanted to shift there in the first place and got my love back for shifting). After scrolling on posts about MHA just to get myself into the mindset of my DR self, I decided it was time to go to bed. As I'm falling asleep, all I think about is the first day of school and how excited I am to go to UA and essentially just get into the mindset of my DR self.
THEN! All of a sudden, I see bright flashing lights and then a portal appears but it starts closing then the shifting police show up so we lowkey get into a high stakes car chase-
Jk again. I just fell asleep like normal. But then I woke up to an alarm which should have been weird because I don't use an alarm but at that moment I didn't clock it (get it? Alarm? Clock? No? Ok...), so I was just annoyed about waking up early. Then my dad walks into my room and he basically tells me I need to wake up because he's gonna make me take the bus on my first day of school if I'm late. Now that really makes me wake up.
Now my mind is a mess because not only have I shifted but it's also the first day to THE most prestigious hero school in the country! I lowkey wanted to cry in the shower but I was in a rush so I didn't have time for that. But I did cry when I shifted back here. The whole day was just so surreal. Maybe I'll make a separate storytime for that but idk because most of it is honestly just like a first day of school and kind of boring.
At first shifting felt crazy, but then after the third time I got used to it. It's kinda crazy I've been putting it on a pedestal when it really ain't all that and a bag of chips 🫤. Also, there's not much I can give you advice on. The fundamentals of shifting/manifesting that I told you earlier are the same. Just work your way around it and find what works for YOU. I genuinely cannot stress the YOU part enough because this is a journey that's personal to you. No one will make you shift, but yourself.
Okay now let this be the last success story you consume for motivation and go actually make that success story ♥️
