on another thought, i appreciate the writing of Malleus interpretating gargoyles like this,,, its like so emotionally empathetic π which is in contrast to the interpretation that he's selfish and unable to connect with feelings lol I guess he really only emphatize something when it has a relation to him?
I love that Ramshackle gargoyles looks like a dragon with no wings, its like the Eastern dragon decorations from Diasomnia's Halloween ππβ¨ no wonder Malleus is attached to Ramshackle lol maybe he has preference over dragon gargoyles lol
i love the composition of these groovies. Jamil and Azul is situated on the red carpet because they are the guards of the real celebrity, they can walk here and enjoy some fame but they are not the focus while Vil is situated at the main venue with all the spotlight on him, truly emphasizing that he's the star of this showππππβ¨
also love that Vil's make up is seemingly more thicker and striking in the groovy as a contrast from the lighting, the composition for these cards are just beautiful πππ

i love how diverse in aging Vil's story is. It would've been easy to surround "Vil Schoeheit" with youthful things considering his character archetype, but I'm glad they're not holding back in adding blemishes whenever they showcase actual aging.
This reminds of Malleus' line that there is a beauty in the withering process of statues/gargoyles. In a way, Vil is like an statue (like a celebrity) but he is as well not immune to aging and I'm glad TWST wrote him as appreciated of aging instead of avoiding it
I know its been said a lot that Vil is not vain. He's not fixated on conventional beauty, but its really comforting to see the beauty icon is the one who believes aging is beautiful as well and is graceful about it, not just on others but also himself yk.
I love the realistic flair of "aging" in a story about really young people and growing up lol
