A Solstice gift from Fadó!

Today’s the traditional date for the Winter Solstice, when the interior of Newgrange is lit up by the sunrise - but this year Ireland’s shortest day is actually the 22nd! In Fadó, Newgrange appears as either an empty, foreboding tomb or the cosy home of the Dagda (as seen in this screenshot!) depending on which character you’re playing as.

drew a modernised version of Laeg from the Ulster Cycle. Cú Chulainn's annoying motorbike buddy. blasts Bonnie Tyler out of an onboard speaker and got a cameo on an episode of Hardy Bucks one time.

I based his design on the Fadó version of course bc I'm doomed to make AUs of my own AUs of my own cultural landscape.
