I may have been born in Jotunheim, but I was raised in Asgard. And yet I am neither Jotun nor God. Not truly. So what exactly does that make me? For many years I pondered that question before finally realizing the answer: I am... Loki. And a Loki isn't a slave to the whims of his ancestors. A Loki writes his own story.
velma was leaving the grill, she had a delicious meal and now it was on to piecing together what happened and finding the rest of the gang. something was wrong with the front door so she was using the back, when she left she was walking up the stairs when she was met with a vampire. after a small scuffle and sheer luck of pushing it into a pipe that pierced its heart, her eyes got huge. âjinkies!â she all but shrieked, covering her beating heart. âghosts, creepy dudes in masks.. that iâve seen. but this?â

it wasnât too difficult to hear the scuffle that was occurring not far from where loki was wandering about in the town. of course, she was quick to make her way towards it, only met with the very end of the little encounter that was being had. letting out a low whistle, the goddess crossed her arms over her chest, unable to hide the clear amusement that was shining in her eyes. âyes, well, you do grow used to the supernatural at some point whenever you deal with it often enough. although i must applaud you, itâs not every day someone can successfully take down a vampire with such ease. iâm surprised itâs your first time encountering one of them.âÂ
while loki was still uncertain as to why they were here, and the purpose behind it all, it was much easier to focus on things that they could control right now. in this case, it was seeking out people that they knew were likely to be around this place. thor, of course, was the very first thought in their head despite every single effort so far to find their brother striking out. loki knew that it would only be a matter of time before they were both reunited, and they were hardly going to stop searching through this town. the other person loki sought out was mobius -- mobius, who saw them. knew every little detail of their life, both the good and the bad, and somehow still accepted them for who they were. who are you? those words still rang in lokiâs ears no matter how much time passed by, that ache within his heart only spreading. they would find their mobius no matter what it took.Â
and, after much effort, it seemed that loki had finally managed to do so. at least, that was what they were hoping for. loki didnât think they could take another heartbreak of the agent not knowing who they were, not after everything that had happened. silently, they eyed the man from across the street, debating exactly how to approach this. but, when in doubt, just do what seemed to be the best bet. so, loki found their feet taking them across the street towards mobius, heart picking up speed the closer they got. âmobius.â calling out the agentâs name, they rushed forward quickly, emerald eyes sparkling with hope. please, please be his mobius. hands reached out, grasping hold of the manâs shoulders. âtell me you know who i am.â // @bravestwordsâ
This wasnât the first time Steve had to adjusted to a new surrounding, new life. But this time was different. He had lost so much, Nat, Bucky. He was confused, not sure what to make of it, settling into another strange place.Â
Steve pushed the door to small restaurant open and glanced around the place, trying to see if he could spot any familiar faces, but as always he never did. Steve moved carefully around a group of people, which in turn caused to bump into someone. âIâm so sorry.â Steve looked over at the person and smiled softly. âAre you alright? â
@mhqsstartersâ
it would be just the godâs luck to continuously run into people that they would much prefer not to face currently. not when loki was far too busy trying to seek out someone else that they were far more focused on finding. and, of course, it would be the most righteous one of them all. taking a step back, emerald hues flickered over the captain, just barely managing to hold back a sigh. this was not at all what he had planned for the day, but it seemed that it couldnât be helped. âperfectly fine there, captain,â the god remarked, dusting off his shoulder with a purse of his lips. âi assure you, it takes much more to break a god, and even with your considerable strength you couldnât manage it. always a pleasure to see you.âÂ
âShocking, a little unbelievable.â She was rightfully cautious with the God before her, but she also knew that recently or not so recently, compared to what theyâve been up against he was minor in comparison. Natasha lifts a brow at his statement, âI donât remember anyone ever telling you that you had to be the villain.â Then again the only time Natasha ever dealt with him was when he was being a villain and they kept their one on one conversations to a low. âYou know for a God who has lived over a thousand years one would think youâd learn along the way to tell people to shut the hell up when they tried to tell you who you should be.â A hint of a smile spreads on Natasha lips as she takes a drink. âYou did.â She nods, âI guess Iâll give you that. So, God of Stories whatâs next in the hero playbook of yours?â
more than a fair assessment given his history. truthfully, loki would think a person completely dimwitted if they openly trusted him so completely knowing past misdeeds and actions. he knew that trust had to be earned after it had been broken so completely. âoh, you have no idea.â with both the tva and and others expecting loki to stay on the path of villainy, some days it felt like a losing battle, one that the god was tempted to just give in to. maybe it would be easier just to prove everyone right no matter how hard loki had fought to get to where he was now. âunfortunately there are forces at play in our world that are determined to keep us all on our rightful paths. not that i ever listened to those forces, mind you, but they did do their best to keep me where i was meant to be.â loki gave a simple shrug, head tilting back as he pondered over the question. âfind my brother, for starters. do what i can to help people while i do so. thereâs someone else i need to find as well.â a pause as loki takes another sip of the drink. âwhat about you, little spider?? do tell me whatâs next in your story.â
âIâm sorry you did what?â The woman lifts a brow at her drinking partner, since coming back to life sheâs tried to live a normal life. The adjustment was a tough one, especially since she never stayed in one place for too long but now she was being forced to. But, living a normal life meant going out, having a few drinks and not surveying the entire town and residents (sheâs already done that, to be honest). @mhqsstartersâ
âyes, yes i know how shocking it may be to hear that i turned over a new leaf.â the god tilted his head to the side, amusement sparkling in those emerald orbs. âif you must know, i grew tired of people telling me who i was supposed to be. constantly telling me that i had to be the villain of the story rather than what i chose.â leaning back, loki took a sip of the drink. fruity, a bit fancy. nothing like he was used to on asgard, or anywhere else in the other realms. âso, yes, god of stories now. doing the whole hero thing. i did promise an exciting story if you had a drink with me, didnât i??â
⥠( avan jogia + anya chalotra, he/she/they, 1,000+) - is that LOKI LAUFEYSON seeking shelter in mystic falls ? i heard that THEY are from MARVEL. theyâre usually known as ADAPTABLE  & MISCHEVIOUS. people often associate GREEN TENDRILS OF MAGIC SPILLING OVER THEIR FINGERS, EMERALD EYES GLITTERING WITH THE PROMISE OF MISCHIEF, ALWAYS FEELING LIKE THEYâRE NEVER GOOD ENOUGH, AND A BROKEN, SHATTERED HEART HIDDEN BEHIND SMART QUIPS AND AN AIR OF CHARM when they look at you. whispers around the town say that they DO remember who they are.
alright so with loki i tend to mix a few different canons. specifically 616 is where i take most of my inspiration from, but i am also including mcu + the loki series and as i complete the loki: where mischief lies novel iâll also add that into my characterization as well.Â
loki was known to many as the go of mischief who caused numerous things and hurt a lot of people that stood against him. he was seen as a villain despite just wanting to be seen and accepted. thor + the avengers is all canon, of course.
was killed by the void when trying to actually do something good for once. clearly didnât end up well
while loki did die, a deal was made to wipe his name from the book of hel to be reborn with a clean slate. however, this was a completely new loki
this new version was haunted by the evil version of himself, and he was able to turn that version of himself into a magpie named ikol
unfortunately ikol convinced the young loki to sacrifice himself, and ikol killed him, and took the younger lokiâs body. this, however, caused ikol to feel great grief at what he had done and everything else done in the past
in the new body, loki chose to become a better person than the other version of himself.
he is a member of the young avengers
loki is a shapeshifter so their form can often shift. pronouns depend on the day and what loki is feeling. it could be she, he, or they/them. just depends on what loki is feeling at the time
while loki is trying to be better than the other version of himself, there is still mischief there. under that is the yearning for people to finally accept that theyâve grown and become a better person rather than just a villain
as for abilities, loki has frost giant/asgardian physiology that grants superhuman abilities, and a regenerative healing factor
loki is also an incredibly skilled and powerful sorcerer, able to use magic in many forms.
at this moment in time, loki no longer goes by the god of mischief. it is instead the god/goddess of stories, mistress of strategies, moon queen/king, and god/goddess of outcasts
while this version of loki isnât 100% the mcu version, loki STILL has all of those memories from the other loki, and also has access to the ones that may not normally be granted as the god of stories. hence, they remember all of the events of the loki series and what occurred. so loki does have those memories and remembers those relationships and the emotions that were felt throughout all of that.
( axel auriant , 25) copper springs welcomes EDDIE KASPBRAK . they are originally from STEPHEN KINGâS IT , where HE is known to be VALOROUS , RESOURCEFUL , TIMID , & GERMAPHOBIC . theyâve landed in town WITH all their memories of their life before . these memories look like A HAND GRASPING DESPERATLY AT AN INHALER , TOO FAST SPEAKING , & A CAST FROM CHILDHOOD COVERING UP THE WORD LOSER INTO LOVER . hereâs hoping they fit into the eighties , for their own sake .
tw: death, homophobia, violence, general pennywise fuckery
Canon
at a very young age, his father died from cancer and it ultimately resulted in his mother becoming extremely protective of him. she constantly wanted to keep him safe and it even got the the point where she made eddie believe he had certain illnesses, such as severe asthma, that he didnât actually have.
any time that he would try to rebel against her, usually encouraged by hanging out with richie, his mom would repress his feelings and emotions which resulted in fears manifesting about the world around him, diseases, standing up for himself, and his sexuality.
prior to the actual beginning of the losers club, eddie and bill had been friends for a while before.
eventually the losers club forms and they begin to be terrorized by it. the first instance for eddie is when he is passing by the house on 29 neibolt street and feels drawn to the place and unable to tear himself away from it. this results in pennywise using his fears against him, and eddie is confronted by a hobo suffering from disease who chases him. while he barley manages to escape, he catches sight of the clown before he runs off.
the group begin to tell one another about their own strange encounters with it, and ultimately they all come together in order to fight it.
the first time results in eddie breaking an arm and almost dying. while the group disbands for a while, they all come back together with eddie rebelling against his mom and they face down pennywise again. this time, they believe theyâve won
before they all part, the losers all agree to come back to derry should pennywise not actually be dead and they all go on with their lives.
eddie goes on with his life. he becomes a risk analyst and marries a woman that is very much like his mom.
time passes and theyâre all called back to derry whenever it begins to become active once more. the losers club once more comes together to fight back against the clown. while they do ultimately defeat it, eddie is unfortunately killed. it impales him through the chest after eddie attacked the clown in an attempt to save richie from the deadlights.
despite richie wanting to believe he was alive, eddie is dead and is left behind while the rest of the losers escape.
Copper Springs
so, yeah. eddie does remember everything that happened in canon. he very distinctly recalls his last moments, the pain of dying, his last words, but feeling content that he was finally able to be brave and save those he loved
needless to say he is freaked out and has no idea why he is alive right now. heâs mostly wondering if this is the afterlife, but that doesnât seem exactly right. which makes him wonder if pennywise is fucking with them all somehowÂ
has a scar on his left cheek where he was stabbed by bowers !! and he has the scar where he was stabbed through in the chest by pennywise, so thatâs a fun reminder of his trauma.
right now heâs trying to figure out everything. trying to settle in and put his life back together despite having no idea what heâs doing or why heâs here and alive
Headcanons
while eddie is very timid and fearful a lot of the time, he is able to find his bravery and hold onto it whenever his friends are in danger. most of the time, at least. he really tries to be brave.
eddie is gay. derry wasnât the best town to feel safe in that feeling, and it resulted in a lot of internalized homophobia for him. while he did marry his wife, he never really loved her and it was just his way of pretending he was normal.
