/my/ Dragon age (origins, II, inquisition) world canon.
Okay so don’t mind me I’m just going to be plotting out my canon for my DA universe, spanning from origins to inquisition. Over time I’ll edit this with new and improved or forgotten plot points, just so I can keep it all together.. Also I will draw all of my characters and write bios and all that.
Also also also, keep in mind some of these things may not be exactly be possible in game(like slightly different past thingy), but I figure, it’s my canon! I can do what I want!
Fem!cousland warden, warrior and eventual queen along side Alistair. She is very poised and proper amongst people she doesn’t know.. Social etiquette and all that. But once she gets comfortable with the group, she relaxes a little bit.. Even making jokes(though the thought of her making a joke is more the reason why everyone laughs, not the actual joke) there are many times she can seem to think she’s better than the lower class, but it has more to do with her lack of socialisation with people outside the nobles she met via her family.
Alistair stays un-hardened, mostly letting the warden rule, though this causes some issues amongst certain groups of nobility. Morrigan and him perform the dark ritual.
The warden spares the mages, and gets them to help with the demon in Redcliffe, Sending Wynne into the fade.
Zeveran is spared, and despite the wardens awkwardness at his ridiculously forward advances, they become fast friends.
Supports Bhelen, though only based on his want to abolish the caste system.. On a personal level she despises him, mainly due to his relatively ‘sneaky/corrupt/non honest’ tactics.
Helps the werewolves get cured.
Assists all her companions with their personal quests, and though she may have disagreements with them, all round she likes her ragtag group of lonely rejects.
My Fem!Amell(who until I settle on a name will be referred to as Amell) stays in the circle, seeing as the cousland was recruited. Her and Cullen share an awkward but flirty ‘I like you and you like me but we’re too awkward to actually say anything also Templars and mages, not happening anytime soon’ type friendship. In the short time before the whole 'blood mages and demons’ thing happens, Cullen seems to be patrolling in the areas the Mage happens to be…
When uldred comes and screws shit up, Cullen and Amell get separated, with her ending up in the harrowing chamber and Cullen being trapped where you find him.
After such a long time spent being tortured, Cullen still insists on killing all the mages in the chamber, though the warden disagrees, saving them instead. When Amell and Cullen are reunited, he reacts in a very cold, harsh manner, though she understands why, especially as she watched the kind of torment that uldred put the other Templars through. Until Cullen is reassigned, they avoid each other.
M!hawke, warrior, mischievous romances Anders. Sides with the mages. Bethany joins the wardens.
Before he and Anders proceed past simple flirting, he does attempt to bed cullen(if you hadn’t noticed, I love this adorably awkward noodle head) though Cullen politely declines(but headcanon he totally thinks about it later) saying he needs focus on his role as a Templar. Once Hawke and the gang move into Hightown, Hawke and Cullen, much to Anders protests because 'hello? Templar!’, end up discussing the Mage Amell, with Cullen commenting on the strange charm the Amell family seems to have..(especially on him! Not that he says that)
When I get the chances, I may try my hand at writing… Oh lord that could be scary.. Anyways, I’ll leave DA:II here… But I will come back to it sometime soon
So, onto inquisition! The thing that has occupied the 50+ hours of the last 120 hours of my life!
Now, I just want to clarify this right now, my femquisitor will NOT be a trevelyan, despite being a human Mage. She is my Amell from DA:O.
In the time between da:o and Dai, Amell has only changed somewhat.. During the events of da:II she was moved to a small circle in boop, and spent the majority of the time advocating for Mage freedoms, but still wanting to work with the Templars and the circles.. Thankfully, many of the people she was with shared her sentiment of freedom for mages.
To put it simple, she believes that magic is dangerous, but instead of Instilling a fear within people about it, thus resulting in many troubles, the chantry/templars/circles should be open with freedoms, allowing people to see their families all whilst educating them on magic..
Anyways, Mage rebellion, circles disbanded she joins with the rebel mages and continues trying find a peaceful solution for everything, but to no avail.. So when the divine is holding the peace treaty thing, she goes to assist in anyway and bam! You all know the rest… Big boom, glowing hand etc.
Now when she and Cassandra head to the breach for the first time, she is wearing a hood (I’m planning to draw all of them… I said that already didn’t I? Yeah anyways I’ll have pictures and all that soonish) so when they first in counter Cullen, she shields her face and doesn’t speak, much to Cassandra’s surprise because she’d been pretty friendly up until then! Cullen, being quite occupied doesn’t think much of it because hey, even though he still thinks of her, he’d reasoned he would never get the chance to right that wrong.

… For now that’s all I have written up, because my first play through didn’t have any of this in mind, and I’d like to think it though much more before putting stuff up! As you notice, none of them have names ATM, and that’s because I tend to reuse names I like across game.. Which could prove an issue of all my people have the same name!
I’ll come back to this soon… Hopefully in a more readable format and with it actually making sense!
