🗡️ Marketing graphic designer 🗡️
Responsible for creating blog graphics, announcement images, and the previews eventually listed on the store, the marketing graphic designer will work closely with both the social media mod and finance mod.
The social media mod must keep one eye on our pages at all times, ready to answer any questions the public may have. They’re responsible for routine posting to maintain interest, sending out any email updates, and interacting with future buyers via blog events and/or marketing.
Primary responsibility: learning! An intern will be asked to help when needed, and may be tasked with research.
A writing liaison will help go through writing applications. They will also proofread and edit fics as well as check in with the writers on a regular basis, and will be in charge of making sure check-ins are met.
The art liaisons will monitor the artists under their care, making sure important guidelines are followed. They will also check in with their artists on a regular basis, and will be in charge of making sure check-ins are met.
The merch liaison will be in charge of all those creating merch. They’ll need to make sure important guidelines are being followed, the templates line up correctly, and that check-ins are met.
Mods will be chosen based on their fit for a primary title first, and assigned secondary titles at the discretion of the admin.
It is important to note that acceptance as a mod does not guarantee acceptance as a contributor. This is because some people have the skills required for moderator work, but may not be the most qualified candidate to contribute artistically, and vice versa. In order to make the contributor acceptance process as fair as possible, mods will undergo the same scoring process as those applying to be contributors only.
Make sure to check out the FAQ for any other questions you may have, and as always, our asks are open.
As anyone who has watched and/or read Hunter x Hunter is fully aware, the Zoldycks are known not only for being an infamous family of assassins but also for the abhorrent way they treat their children. To be 100% clear, this zine is not supportive of that abuse and neglect. This should go without saying, but we are in no way advocates for their way of living. It was a conscious decision to include the entire family because despite this, there are plenty of other opportunities for the characters to interact (or choose not to interact). In addition, we also chose to include the staff who live on the mountain to encourage more diverse pieces.
While we will not be endorsing abuse, we also will not be erasing it. What this means is that no, we will not allow any pieces that have abuse occurring in them, nor will we allow any explicit description/mentions of past horrors. Mentioning or referencing it in a passing acknowledgement will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
