Seeing Scald Eagle play yesterday really reminded me why I play Derby She inspired me to become stronger, to work harder, and to push myself more She is my Derby idol, and just being in the same room with her inspires me to be better than I am I want to be a stronger and smarter player because of her Thank you Scald Love, Slayer

Scrimmage 3/9

We were supposed to play another team but they backed out at the last minute But it's fine because we had our first interleague scrimmage of the year! We had two new girls play and they kept up with everyone and completely rocked it I left with some pretty nice bruises and my first concussion! Went to the ER and everything's fine, just had to take a few days out of practice Please make sure if you think you have a concussion, get checked out. It's a traumatic brain injury. Love, Slayer

Lock in 12/5/15

The Lock In was fantastic!

No major injuries to report, for me at least.

I played in three bouts which were supposed to be based on skill level, but weren’t.

Fortunately, feeling out of place made me push myself harder since I did not want to drag the team down

All and all it was great!
