Ever since I said "I haven't seen a single Nightbane simp yet" they keep appearing everywhere. But you're valid, here you go!

You got to know him through being a regular guest at Ninir Kingdom's royal gatherings
He'd always welcome you at the entrance of balls like a good butler would, checking your name on the guest list and wishing you a wonderful evening before gesturing you to enter the ballroom
Quite a few people would ask you to dance but your eyes always wandered back to that mysterious man standing at Queen Liliths side
There was always something dangerous in the air around him. You couldn't quite place it and many others likely would have stayed away from it, but there was something about the demon that intrigued you.
So when you were invited to Liliths new masquerade ball, of course your eyes would scan the crowd in an attempt to meet his. Which was easier said than done because Nightbane made sure not to be recognizable.
But he definitely recognized you
And he used that opportunity to walk up to you and ask you for a dance.
You had a hunch it was him, really. That sinister aura he radiated was unmistakable
And yet, maybe playing dumb would make him reveal a few things about himself, as if talking to a stranger
Nightbane knew exactly what you were doing but he'd humor you for the night. He'd have a little fun messing with you after all.
He'd always tease you. Whispering sweet nothings into your ear while his warm breath sent shivers down your spine. He'd take your hand in his and cover your knuckles in small pecks.
He'd offer you a private tour through Liliths castle, unbeknownst to her of course. He'd show you all the history of the place and has a tendency to point out the most cruel and curious parts.
He leads you to a seperate, private music room. You hear the instruments playing, yet none of them are moving and there's no one other than you and Nightbane in the room. It's like magic.
He asks you for another dance, this time moving around on the dancefloor more freely, away from all prying eyes.
He'd make sure the music was exactly to your liking. "How did you know I'd love this song?", you'd ask and you can see a faint smirk on his face. "I have my ways."
Eventually you'd slow down and instead of dancing, Nightbane would now press soft but teasing kisses to your neck, running his fingertips through your hair.
The music is still playing your favorite tune. "How exactly do you do this? What are you?", you finally take the courage to ask him. He simply chuckles. "I'm not sure you're prepared to learn the answer to that, my dear." And with that he leads you back to the ballroom.
