I could never understand why the greatest of people always get short- handed. Is it because they're stronger than others and therefore must suffer more to make them "average" is it because even through their pain and sadness they force a smile and tell the people they love the most that everything is okay? Or is it because their loved ones know it's not, yet they hope that if they let them pretend to be happy then they will be?

Whatever the reason, I guess it doesn't matter much. But what does is watching the people you love most and hold closest smile when you know how much they're dying on the inside. You want to look at them and say "it's okay to cry" or "I'm here for you now, and always"
