it had been a long, long time since he had seen his sister. a part of him wished she had visited him at least once during his time in prison. she never did though, and from the sound of what people had been telling him, she had lost all interest in being apart of this family. a shame, considering there was always this idea in the back of his mind that maybe one day she wouldn’t hate him anymore. clearly that idea was merely a fantasy. he found his way into l corp. and to lena’s office with ease, considering the company was his at one time and he certainly had his ways of getting what he wanted. he had found himself at her desk, smiling ever so slightly when his sister walked through the door. ❝ look at you, radiant as ever. ❞ he spoke up, chuckling lightly under his breath. ❝ sorry for just barging in. there’s some urgent matters i figured we should discuss. ❞ @misslluthor
Having spent most of the day in meetings, all Lena wanted was to have even half an hour to herself. Not that she’d get that of course; running two companies, it seemed she was in constant demand. It was frustrating at times, but she expected it. What she didn’t expect was the all too familiar voice that greeted her as she stepped into her office, causing her to stop short, breath hitching in her throat as she turned her head to confirm what she already knew. She stared for a long moment, saying nothing, not knowing what to say, but as Lex spoke again she took a deep breath and pulled herself from her stupor. “I’m not sure what you think we have to discuss.” There was a frostiness to her tone, any other emotions carefully hidden away. “Although I have to admit, I’m mildly curious as to how the hell you got here.” Last she’d heard, he was still on earth one, locked in a cell.
