Tbh i dont like fics where people have peter and remus have a bad or strained relationship bc it just doesn't make sense to me??

1. James and Sirius are super close, like brothers. Logically it makes sense for them to go off sometimes together creating chaos or whatever. In that time, I find it very hard to believe Remus and Peter sit in silence or argue. It's natural for them to become closer in that time even despite differences.

2. You *cannot* convince me they dont bitch about other people to each other. They're both the most logical marauders, and they both have their own sense of humor which works for them. I can totally see Remus complaining about his marital problems with Sirius to Peter, who totally gets it bc he grew up around them and has seen what they're like.

This was one of the things I didn't like about atyd and would change if I could. Ficwriters, I want more remus and Peter moments PLEASE

I propose that Peter is the earth. I mean, imagine it. He keeps them all grounded and is a very down to earth kind of guy. (the puns were not intended)

He can offer a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear alongside James. He’ll listen to his friends’ (really anyone’s) problems and give advice. He’s a sweetheart and just naturally a kind person. Peter will never be just there to me.
