Larry Nassar abused over 150 women, including Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles, and Aly Raisman. Judge Rosemarie made sure this predator pays the price for each and every one of them. Why I'm sceptical about Timothy Heller's story:

1. She lied about it being a two-day sleepover as Melanie was in a different state at the time

2. She dressed up as her supposed rapist for years afterwards

3. She went straight to Twitter, where she knew she'd get loads of attention, instead of to the police.

4. At first, she said her abuser was a MAN.

5. Five days after the alleged assault, Timothy posted a picture to Instagram of her and Melanie hanging out together...

I'm not saying she's lying, as how am I supposed to know - but it's just a little odd...

For everyone saying not saying no doesn’t equal yes

You are leaving out half of a statement. Timothy says that she said no in various different ways before the alleged rape. When Melanie says “she didn’t say no…” she is saying that Timothy’s claim of multiple protests never happened. In the second half of this sentence, Melanie says “to what we chose to do together.” This implies that Timothy said yes and consented. In her new statement, Melanie says that she would never be intimate with someone who wasn’t consenting.

Don’t take half a sentence and twist it so that it fits your narrative. I’m not saying just to believe Mel on her statements, but don’t claim guilt for something she did not admit to either. There is more proof leaning towards Melanie at the time being, and if she is proven guilty, then my apologies will go out to Tim. But for now, this is where I stand
