So I’m going to say exceedingly little politically here. But here’s something I will say. If this election has shown us anything it’s that government is too powerful. If we live our lives in perpetual fear of what powers the next elected officials are going to will over us, then they’re just plain too powerful. We should not live in fear of politicians or bureaucrats. But give them power for the sake of security and you will ultimately live in fear of your political rivals. Stop letting them pander to you. None of them are for you, they’re telling you what they think you want to hear for the sake of job security.
