My elf priestess lore explained badly

My elves are physically way weaker than humans, only priestesess are able to use magic powers so they aren't really powerfull by average. They live in a kind of giant city shaped bubbles, their outside world is rotting, air is poisonous and monster mutants are crawling around you need magic to survive there

also they used to live long long ago but pollution took away their long lifespawns and now they live same lenght as humans
