Meet Baggins

Making come coffee cozies with my crochet hook this afternoon.

We just adopted a three month old male bunny!

We're naming him Baggins from Lord of The Rings. 

I've found that little furry creatures can be quite calming and soothing for an aching heart. My babies will always be missed and there is a huge hole in my heart for two people who I've never met. But it's nice to have this little guy around.

It's pretty sweet when your hubby crawls into bed with you after getting in from work and suggesting an unscheduled date night at Panera Bread. 

Spending time together, just chatting and holding hands, really helps heal and warm the heart.

Good Days and Bad Day

After a miscarriage, you'll have good days and bad days. Just being honest here.

You'll have days when you feel free and happy. You'll shop and dance around the house with your hubby. The sun will shine and you'll find joy in every little thing.

You'll have bad days too. The days when you feel dark and sad. They days when you can't wait to crawl back into bed. The days when you feel the emptiness of your womb.

I'm having one of those bad days right now. I've prescribed myself an hour of Christian music to help sooth my soul and heart. Thank goodness I have a God that loves me so much.
