So a statement has finally been made on Krinkels' end.

I'm holding my tongue on what I think of it publicly, but people who have spoken to me privately know I am frustrated, and quite frankly I still don't think I'm going to post on this blog for a long time. To clarify, I don't exactly think Krinkels is a terrible awful evil spawn of satan or anything, and I do understand the sentiment, but it could have been worded much, much better, and it makes him come off as incredibly out of touch. I am frustrated it took so long, but any public acknowledgement from the man notorious for never addressing the absolute swampshit his fandom can get up to is a good stepping stone.

See, I feel like with Krinkels his issue is that he believes that these people aren't actually bigots / awful people because they're nice to him in particular. It's sad, but it's what I suspect, especially because this seems to be a very popular way of thinking among older madness fans.

The new Madness merch is cool and all but here's a reminder that Krinkels still has yet to acknowledge that popular figureheads in his fandom are nazis who sexually harass children.

This harassment of children and sexual misconduct from popular users has been happening for years, and while I will not reveal much about myself on this blog because that isn't the point, I will say that I am a prime example of that, and now to see even the creator turning a blind eye disgusts me to my core. I honestly don't know if I can continue posting on this blog anymore. Until he says something, this blog is inactive.

it doesnt seem like anything is gonna be done at a higher level about how vile QMG is, not even a statement telling them to back off of my friends or other people or anything, so i am here to remind you that QMG animators like moiani, kokkare, and others are neo nazis who regularly harass kids and to Not Stop Talking About It.

krinkels, swain, no one else seems to bother about it, just brushing it all off as random trolls and telling us we just shouldnt engage. this isnt an obscure small portion of the fandom, these are literally the Biggest animators/creators of this fandom across all platforms, including some madness day judges and even official voice actors who are either bigots or defend others bigotry using the same excuse that theyre somehow just low effort random trolls. these are the biggest names in this fandom harassing and silencing smaller creators for saying anything about it who then arent able to defend themselves on such a scale and getting pushed out of the community for it.

this shouldnt just be ignored. i dont care if you keep liking madcom or not over it, i definitely dont plan on leaving it soon. what needs to be done is to be outspoken about how this kind of disgusting behavior shouldnt be allowed or accepted. we cant just forget all of it for the sake of enjoying madness day or animations or whatever, especially not when at any moment they may set their sights on you.

Forgive the empty account, I've made a sideblog to avoid any level of harassment that has been aimed at my peers.

Considering the only public response so far has been a lukewarm call for everyone to break it up, we need to do a lot more than just reblog and retweet posts condemning what happened (as important as that is for awareness).

Krinkels discord is just @/krinkels. [email protected] is a public email on his Facebook account. Directly make your displeasure with the continued fostering of the alt right in this fandom KNOWN and UNAVOIDABLE so it can finally be addressed.

The public sexual harassment of a minor has been defended publicly by AngelDrawRus, the thumbnail artist for the plushie advertisments. Privately, one of the main individuals calling this out has been contacted, berated, and privately smeared as someone who spreads false allegations by a well known member of the community/someone who has contributed to Madness itself, but doesn't even feel safe enough to publicly come out with who due to the harassment him and his peers have already faced. This is completely unacceptable, and we need to make a fuss until something happens.
