This is a story I wrote, to explain my fog-creature-kintype to ya. The story is fictional, I just tried to show the vibe of my kintype to y'all, for better understanding.
English is not my native language, so there are possibly some mistakes in words or grammar!
Imagine being in the foggy woods, it's cold and you have no idea where you exactly are. Around you, there is just cold, thick fog. You take a few steps over cracking branches that lie on the ground covered in dew. Your eyes can only see the nearest tree trunks, the outlines of more distant plants blur into shadows. You breathe in the cold air, your nose is to cold to notice any smells. You exhale in a large cloud. Alone, you're totally alone here. No sounds, despite your steps on the ground and your heartbeat, that sounds loud in the silence. The fog muffles every sound.
And suddenly you feel, there is something. Something living. Somewhere in the shadows around you. Is it watching you? Nothing moves. Your breath stops for a moment. You try to get a sight at whatever is there, but you don't see anything than trees, surrounded by fog. Somehow you know it won't hurt you, it's not evil. Nevertheless, you feel tense. It's not dangerous, but it unsettles you, scares you. You try not to get crazy, maybe you're just making something up... but you feel, something is there. The fog is too thick, it's possible that wouldn't even notice a person, standing there. It's just thus tensing feeling that tells you, you are not alone.
It has no body. But it watches you. Every move.
You shiver and try to get away from this haunted place. After some meters you look back. Nothing changed, there is still some kind of presence in the fog. You feel it. Then you start to run.
Suddenly u're alone. Silence around you. Only silence and fog. After a quick look over your shoulder you realize: Nothing really changed. Everything looks the same as some moments before... but this feeling of presence is away. You finally feel totally lonely in the woods. You take a deep breath. Did you just imagine it? The feeling was so intense... There must have something been, a creature, in the deep thick fog. Maybe it was the fog itself, kind of alive. You don't know.
