Briefly about the weather here. Not a day without raining. It's not going to stop for the next 10?.. days.
And that's when I need to run around a lot of places! I've already gotten soaked in the heavy rain a couple of times. Even though I had an umbrella, I still got my feet and ankles really wet. Those roads were real rivers.

My twisted self-esteem quietly hints to me that there are more open-and-proud carnivores because very few want to be proud of being what is considered prey, and therefore those with pronounced herbivore theriotypes often sit in the closet. Even orthohumans (most of the time) answer the "what animal would you be" question with some cool carnivore.
I'm embarrassed that I'm a hare, it takes a stupidly long time accepting it. Not even a stronger herbivore that can defend itself, like those with mighty horns and hooves. A hare, a creature every carnivore wants to chase down and eat. So, yea.

What does pleritherian mean?
Pleritherian, also called plerikin, is a label under the alterhuman and specifically, the therian umbrella, which describes someone who involuntarily identifies as most, but not all animalistic beings.
These animalistic identities can, but don't have to include fictional/mythical animals. (For example, you can label yourself a pleritherian while considering dragons as one of your kintypes)
Someone who labels themselves as a pleritherian might:
- identify as all animals except felines
- identify as all animals except the blue whale
- identify as most animals, but can't quite say which ones they do or don't identify as
- have their identities fluctuate in and out of existence
- identify as some beings more than others
there is no specific number of identities you must have/must not have to use this label. As long as you feel like the term fits you, you're welcome to use it!
Name and Symbol
The name "pleritherian" comes from the latin word "plerique", meaning "most" or "most of", as well as "therian", meaning someone who involuntarily identifies as an animalistic being.
The symbol used for pleritherianthropy is that of the theta delta, the symbol most commonly associated with therianthropy, with the greek letter Σ (sigma) in it's middle
Σ is the eighteenth letter of the greek alphabet and in mathematics, is used to mean "sum"
The flag at the top of this post doesn't hold any significance. It's simply my own take on a flag for therianthropes, now with the symbol for pleritherianthropy, instead for the usual theta delta in the middle.
Why is this term being coined?
I'm mainly coining this term because I feel like it not only fits my own, but also the experience of many others within the alterhuman community.
While asking around and doing research, I was baffled that no such label excited, since it's something I feel like affects many individuals, mainly polytherians that seem to discover more and more kintypes, which from my own experience, can be quite stressful.
I myself find comfort in labels and knowing exactly what I am, so I have coined this term to maybe offer some closure to individuals like me

I feel like I would be happier if I got one (1) chase session with some good friend every so often maybe once a month where one is like the hunter n the other is an animal of their choosing and basically you full on sprint through a field/park/forest/any clearing of land, and like the goal is to 'end' the animal, as in, pin them down and pretend to take out their heart or something, and you pretty much have to 'run for your life' but ahaha its all fun because you are best friends and you'll get up later and go for a nice cup of tea and waffles and chill in some run down diner because you're best buddies.
