Listen, I know I make fun of the Emperor sometimes (in a loving way), but he did manage to fight off all those gith by himself for quite some time, while also controlling Orpheus's power to protect us, and ultimately he was the one who put together and enacted the plan that saved the city. Yeah, the brain was using him, but it didn't make him do all that. It used him because it knew he would do that if given the chance. So, still a point for Emps, if you ask me.

Also, he sure knows how to give a compliment.

And he canonically gives you the best sexual experience you've ever had.

And catching you mid-air, throwing you backward through a portal, and then confidently telling the netherbrain that this isn't over is the hottest thing anyone does in this entire game.

And then he even helps you up with telekinesis afterward, it's very sweet <3

guys there's literally no reason to put stuff like this in the tags lol!

for those who may not understand tumblr culture: character specific tags are utilized mostly by FANS of the character to discuss the character, search out meta, or look for art and fic.

it's considered bad etiquette to post character hate into the tag for the character. but with characters who have a lot of people who hate them (like Emp), this is very hard for us to self-police. it's especially annoying because it can lead to the tumblr algorithm placing these posts directly into our timelines because of how they're tagged.

literally every day we see a handful of the exact same post:

even ignoring the bad-etiquette part of it, you're basically just spamming the tags with a post that's been made 1000s of times?

Created entirely from hand-drawn vectors (yes, even the shading!) and recolored photos of glass.

Ok, I know the Emperor is not - to put it lightly - a great guy, but a lot of people Vastly. VASTLY. Underestimate how faithful he is to the PC.

You only have to compare how many times he will actually betray you:

Literally the player character is objectively the more untrustworthy one in their dynamic. You can even be an asshole to him and he'll stomp his feet and tantrum like a little baby, but he won't really do anything to the player. Like please just take a step back and look at the big picture.
