Baran crying in the car. Trinity goes to the parking deck after fireworks and sees her and asks what’s wrong.

Baran looks up at her with watery eyes and just says “I can’t drive home.”

Trinity asks why and she says “it’s not safe for me to drive.”

So Trinity tells her to get out of the car. She parks it back into the parking space and hands Baran her keys and bag.

“Mel and I are going out for drinks and karaoke, and you look like you could use some cheering up.”

Baran shakes her head, “I couldn’t impose.”

Trinity gives one of those little smirks, “It’s not imposing if you’re invited, Robo-Doc. Plus neither of us want to be alone tonight so Mel is probably going to crash at my place. You’re welcome too, make a girls night of it.”

Baran agrees and follows Trinity to her SUV.

And that how Baran Al-Hashimi finds herself cheering in the audience for two very drunk residents doing really bad karaoke, and then waking up in the spare room in Trinity Santos’s apartment.
