Capone prided himself as a man with style. If he ever killed someone himself, or one of his henchmen killed an important person, hundreds of dollars worth of flowers was sent to the funeral. In one fight between Capone’s men and another gang, an innocent woman was shot, not fatally, and required hospital treatment. Capone personally paid for all the hospital fees. He also would pay for all children’s hospital bills when he visited.

Packaging. It's for a pastry sold in Japan, China,Taiwan and parts of Latin America. The pastry is black melon bread and is said to be popular in those areas, it is a cookie dough over a custard center. Some think the marketing is clever. A 2013 ruling by the Dominican Republic’s top court rendered hundreds of thousands of Dominican Haitians in the country effectively stateless by revoking their citizenship. After an outcry from the international community, the Dominican government passed a law allowing residents a pathway to naturalization. The deadline for those registering for naturalization at government bureaus around the country was Wednesday, June 17. VICE News traveled to Batey Naranjo, a small rural village on the outskirts of Santo Domingo that is primarily populated by Haitians or Dominican Haitians, and spoke to residents about their confusion and concerns as to the ramifications of the naturalization deadline.
