Update on the journey of getting physically toned and getting back to those Megan knees lmao. Started at 267.8 and I am currently at 248.9 Boxers: @wearewoxer Sportsbra: @shefit I have @roger2fit as my trainor and keeping with a healthy meal plan to balance with my workouts. I just recently started adding some boxing for cardio and mix that with weighted workouts. I am making progress even if it appears slow. I am happy when I hit a rep count for a certain move and next week surpass that rep count. Another joy is if I struggled in a workout to get through all rounds and next week I take fewer breaks and push through. These non-scale victories remind me that I am putting in the work and accomplishing my goals. Just have to stay consistent and dedicated. If anyone else has a body like mine and is on their own journey, know you are beautiful too and not all bodies look the same. Do not compare your journey to anothers. I love all my curves and know I am beautiful. I may not gain muscle but look soft at any weight but that's who I am. This self-love journey has taken me to wear different types of clothes, cut off my hair, wear heels and not kicks. I started eating healthier and drinking a ton of water and working out. October I decided to get a trainor because I was not being disciplined in my workouts and staying consistent in my movement. It's been ups and downs cause being healthy is not easy. I am proud and I love my BBW body. I'm not ashamed of it. I started this journey to be happy in who I am and really prove to myself that gyms are not made for one body type. I am doing this holistic path not for numbers on a scale but for the intuitive knowledge of knowing my body and hearing what it wants. I have become more connected to me and I love every curve, roll, stretch mark...or as Katt William calls it tiger 🐅 stripes lmao. I hope others can be just as confident and do what they love. Don't let people determine your health, beauty, or what you should eat. Don't let IG fool you that being fat is unhealthy, ugly or unwanted. You can be sexy, sensual, beautiful, and rock any look boo as a fat individual. Getting healthy is what I like to call it as I really don't care about the numbers I am losing. I just want my knees to not crack or feel sore from some squats/burpees. I would like my arms to jiggle a little less and to going up a flight of stairs and be out of breath or walking with my friends who are not fat and feel slow. Bur for those of you on your own journey. The realities of being fat and trying to lose numbers looks like this. Physically I do not look like I have made progress but I started with not being able to do a regular pushup or manage more than two situps. I can do 15 situps without any issue and I can do 4 regular push-ups before going back to knee push-ups. My weight started off at 267.8 in September and I am at 256.4 in December. My weight fluctuates up and down and I cannot seem to go past 255. Numbers do not reflect the above progress. Trying to lose fat is hard. So focus on those movement accomplishments and focus on how your body feels. I will continue to be transparent on my journey cause I get tired of those "IG baddies" who make it seem like they found it so easy. I am fine being fat and that does not make me more beautiful or less beautiful. I am a bad bitch and beautiful in September, now and in the future. I am not doing this for weight loss but because my body said bitch we need to move more. So here I am. I started with my spirit than worked to my mind and now I am on my body. I started my journey not to loose weight because I am fat, I heard my body say it needed to move more. I am fine being PHAT cause a bihh will always be gorgeous. But I did not move a lot and that needed to change to be holistic in my self-care. I am not trying to be healthy because that does not equate to success as I suffer from a mental illness that will never be cured, so would that mean I am never successful? HELL TO THE M FUDGE NO.
