Nothing is stopping you from writing fanfiction for college assignments
I have a class where I have to write creative assignments all the time, and let's be honest, I don't always have the motivation to write something super original.
My solution? Write fanfiction and change names and specific details. And you know what? Most college teachers won't even know.
I definitely just wrote a shortened version of a MHA Vigilante!Izuku Dadzawa fanfic and changed names and ages and genders.
I've done it before, and you know what? I got full credit. She didn't even notice.
In conclusion, work smarter not harder. This way, you still practice your writing skills, you practice plot conventions, and you don't have to world build. Plus, if your teacher does notice, you can be like:

Feel free to skip the intro if you just want to see tips for being an "academic weapon" or how it went today!!
I am sick and tired of dreading exams and worrying about my grades, so I am decided it is time to become the best version of myself!
Yes, it is about 4 weeks from finals.... but I think if I really work for it, I can end the semester with all A's (maybe).
So, I am going to do a daily recap (?) of what my goals are for the day and what I actually did, as well as tips for anyone who is also trying to become an "academic weapon" right before finals (or ever tbh)!
I also want to preface that this will be completely without the use of AI (like chatGPT, TurboAI, etc) because you don't need AI to be smart <3
ANYWAYS.... here is my plan for today !
I want to finish an Exam study guide for my Psychology class (over chapters 9, 10, and 11).
I want to finish Interview Questions for my English class assignment.
I want to study for my Anatomy and Physiology Exam (right after thanksgiving break).
This might not seem like much right now... but tbh I am already done with everything for the day (mentally) and want to scroll on my phone... which is why I have been getting straight Cs in my A&P class lately...
Results:
My English Interview Questions are done! I have to do my interview tomorrow so thankfully they are finished and ready to be asked!
I finished my study guide for Chapter 9, only 10 and 11 to go (will probably do tomorrow and Thursday, leaving Friday and Saturday for studying!)
I studied for my exam, but only for like fifteen minutes before I gave up so idk if that counts lol.
Tips:
Music!
If you like to listen to music, I think changing the music that you are listening to every time you start getting distracted really helps you stay focused! For example, I alternated between listening to Xdinary Heroes, this playlist, the Interstellar soundtrack, and this youtube video!
Breaks!
Take breaks, but not unless you feel really bored or are unable to focus. And don't take too long of breaks (and don't take phone breaks... aka doomscrolling breaks. Minutes turn into hours real fast). Whenever I wanted to take a break, I had to do something I needed to do, rather than "wanted" to do. For example, I would take my dog for a walk, wash dishes, do laundry, etc. instead of scrolling on my phone or watching youtube or something! It really helped!
Eating!
Make sure you eat before you study, not during/after because I promise you will get distracted (either because you are eating and not working or wanting to eat).
That's all for today!! Hope any of this helped, and be sure to let me know anything that has helped you!!
My Real Experience With the Big 10 Application on Tychr
When I first started my U.S. college journey, the Big Ten universities felt massive and honestly a little overwhelming. I kept asking myself: How do I even begin? What do I need? Who can guide me through this without making me feel even more lost?
That’s when I came across the Big 10 application on Tychr, and everything started making sense.
Here’s the link I used: https://unicounselling.tychr.com/big-ten/
What I really liked was how personal and straightforward the guidance felt. Instead of generic advice, the platform breaks down what each Big Ten school looks for and gives you a real plan to follow. I used https://unicounselling.tychr.com/big-ten/ to understand how my profile matched with different universities and what I needed to improve.
One of my favorite parts of using the Big 10 application on Tychr was the step-by-step clarity. I remember stressing about essays, recommendations, deadlines you name it. But having everything explained through https://unicounselling.tychr.com/big-ten/ made the process so much less chaotic.
When I shared my draft essays with my counselor through the platform, they didn’t just “edit” them they helped me connect my real experiences to what Big Ten schools actually value. Because of that, I shaped a narrative that felt authentic, not forced. Honestly, without https://unicounselling.tychr.com/big-ten/, I would’ve probably been rewriting essays forever.
If you’re planning to apply to Big Ten universities, I can honestly say the Big 10 application on Tychr saves you time, stress, and confusion. All the resources I needed were right there, and having one dedicated space for everything just made life easier.
If you want to check it out, here’s the link again:

And seriously—use it. It helps.
😰 Don’t Sweat It Later: Ask for Rec Letters Before Summer!
✨ PSA for anyone applying to college, grad school, scholarships, or literally anything that needs a recommendation letter ✨
ASK. EARLY.
No, like—right now.
Not next week. Not after midterms. Not when Mercury goes direct.
Now.
Your teachers, mentors, supervisors—they’re not recommendation-writing robots waiting in a dusty closet to be summoned when you finally remember the deadline is next Thursday. They’re humans. With jobs. And lives. And probably ten other students asking them for letters too.
And guess what? A rushed letter sounds rushed. A thoughtful, detailed, specific rec letter that actually helps you stand out? That takes time.
Time YOU give them when you ask early.
So do future-you a favor:
📅 Make a list of who you need recs from
✉️ Send a polite, warm email asking if they’d be willing to write one
📎 Include your resume/brag sheet and deadlines
🙏 Thank them like the recommendation gods they are
Be the student that makes their job easier—not the one who sparks a mild existential crisis on Sunday night.

Why CollegeTips.in internship is different from others?
BY KASTURI BORGOHAIN.
CollegeTips.in is the only platform for school going students who can join an internship. For me in one word it is my 'stress buster'. Why? Because I got in very easy without any interview. And now I'm showing off my writing hobby. This keeps me busy. Yes! It's fun and very crisp. I have submitted two videos till now. It also helped me to talk more confidently. For an introvert like me, talking in front a camera and sharing that video in the camera is a big deal. Since, they are very friendly, it doesn't feel like we are doing an internship. It feels like school project. But, mind me the topics are way too good and creative. It is the best place for creative writers like me. I have also joined a Pet Volunteer program. In just a click, I am part of a pure program now and also I am proud of myself.
I came to know about CollegeTips.in through internshala. I was new in the field of Content writing. So I definitely didn't wanted to jump in the sea of high expectations. I wanted a place where I would get guidance along with I get a certificate as a content writer. If I have the power of blessings I would bless this cute start up company. They have my heart. Although, I am a Post graduate, and most of them are young teenagers. I kept on working along with them. And everything in CollegeTips.in is equal. This is a big thing. Although I am working as a remote. I don't have any access to their workplace. But I am 100% sure there is no office politics.
'Internships' are must for your resume. And the certificate that CollegeTips.in is giving is valuable. So, the time that you are investing on it, won't go in vain. Also, if you are not good at writing, still you can pursue. You can make posters, banners or the trendy videos. This is for everyone. Your talent won't go in vain here.
What we need to do here? We have to complete the tasks that are being given to us. There will be a particular time for each day. And before that you have to submit. And each task are different from each other. It's not the same boring everyday. So, I also love for that.
They are also very responsive. One doesn't have to wait the whole day to get a reply. The use of Hinglish for the task sounds cool too. And therefore, it doesn't feel like we are actually doing an internship. And it, lowers the tension level for a bit.
Being paired up in a group, also helps us to see others work and learn. From the name also, we can see that it gives us tips for our betterment.
Many people doesn't know that CollegeTips.in is the biggest recruiter in India. Yes! You heard that right. One can contact them, take Internships for their career development. And the simple goal of mine to choose it is lack of time . I don't have the whole day time to devote in it. And each task takes hardly 1hour. If you zeal to do the task, the minute you get it , you can go for it. And giving one hour per day to CollegeTips.in and in exchange I will get a certificate. I think that's a good deal. What say ? https://www.collegetips.in use this link to know more about CollegeTips.in.

I'm Tanishq Solanki your #FitGenie from www.collegetips.in/lifestyle/
You're probably here for one of these three reasons,
1) You genuinely want to be fitter and healthier
2) You saw Jungkook and clicked(😙)
OR
3) I randomly appeared on your page and sparked your interest
Now, no matter what the reason might be I want you to stay here and read me out. This is my personal experience and opinion;
We all wish to be fitter and healthier. But what is being fit and healthy? Is it having six pack abs, 0% body fat or muscles and veins popping out as against having a balanced diet, healthy body and tranquil mind? I'll tell you the answer: It's a little bit of both.
The reason why I say so is because it takes a lot of work to get the ideal supreme body but ,it takes a lot more of self control and discipline to maintain it and the process will only work if your diet is balanced and you are calm and determined.
Society usually perceives an underweight body as healthy/fit and an overweight body as unhealthy/unfit. But is that the truth? Scientifically speaking this is absolute nonsense. Infact, some research shows that it's actually the opposite.
What is being healthy?
Being Healthy is a state of mind and body. A person's weight has very little to do with being healthy and fit. According to me, a healthy person is someone who is happy, has some sort of physical activity ( eg: favorite sports, yoga, dancing, pilates etc) atleast 3 times a week, takes care of their health and has fun whilst being fit (ike eating Pizza, burger , icecreams every once in a while ). But on the other hand managing weight or wanting to lose weight is not a bad thing or idea especially if you are looking for a more toned up body, defined muscles/abs, to avoid or battle with certain health issues or are just looking for a change. If this resonates with what you want to achieve then let's dive right in your journey of being fit with your FitGenie.
One of the biggest problems that people have is weight . If you have the same problem let me tell you one thing, every problem has a solution and I'm here to help you out because I'm your FitGenie.
So, now for the people out here who cannot forego Pizza (because 🍕=😋) but still want to lose weight,I have good news for you .You don't need to avoid your favorite albeit calorie rich food like plague all the time!. Today I'm going to give you your first and the MOST important tip without which all other tips are a waste.
THE GOLDEN TIP
"You are what you eat"
For results perseverance and dedication is key.
The first golden step is Diet. Now, I'm not going to tell you what you should eat and what you shouldn't but, your daily mantra should be eating in moderation, avoiding over eating as well as never skipping meals! Still not losing weight? Simple solution: Try a Calorie deficit diet. Now what is a calorie? A calorie is simply a measurement of food. So in order to lose weight, all you have to do is a little bit of Maths. Note down all the food that you consume in a day. Then Google the calories of each foodstuff. Add the calories . The number you get is your total calories which is needed in maintaining your current weight. So for weight loss all you have to do is subtract 500 calories from your daily calorie intake and that's it!
