The heavily procrastinated introduction of my OC Mak’ol! I’m just gonna give you some pictures of him and his Ikran, Amay, and a bit of lore.
He's a somewhat distant cousin of Nor (like third cousin), and around Teylan's age before cryo. When TAP was shut down and Alma put the rest of the Sarentu into cryo sleep, Mak'ol was actually being transported from a different facility while tranquilized. His cage was dumped and abandoned by the RDA, the soldiers figuring he would be killed by some Pandora predator.
Instead, he was found by a traveling Kame'tire healer on their way back to the Clouded Forest, and was brought back to the clan by them. He's always kept mark hidden, except for from the healer who found him. Mak'ol grew up and adapted to Pandora while the rest of his clan slept, and one day found the Resistance as they were moving into their new camp.
I have a head cannon!!! This is based off of frontiers of Pandora.
Sarentu song cords are longer than any other group. They wrap the expanse of their whole arm, older Sarentus have been known to have cords that wrap around their neck and down their other arm even. Every story they are gifted ends up on their song cord. They’ll skip between them picking and choosing what stories to share with others. A unique song for every occasion. But on quiet nights they’ll sing through the whole thing. This can take hours depending on the storyteller.
Kaltxì, it’s been a hot minute since I played AFOP but I’m back with more pictures of my girlie Taw’saho! She’s been pretty busy lately, between taking down a fair share of RDA, completing various tasks for the Resistance, and just generally exploring Pandora!
She met with the Kame’tire and found her new best friend, Hastu! He hasn’t quite warmed up to her yet, but she figures he’s bound to since she’s spending a lot more time with the clan!
Taw’saho also found out about TAP CON-1. She had already barely remembered the facility due to her young age, but upon finding the old cages and living quarters that she and her fellow Sarentu were subjected to, she had a bit of an episode after returning to HQ. So’lek had to take her back to the Ikran Rookery to stay there for a few days, as it’s been one of her favorite places since bonding with Katìr. She’s still unable to hold a civil conversation with Alma, and shows an uncharacteristic lack of remorse for the death of her avatar body.
Once she began to feel better, Taw’saho took some time with the Zeswa for a while, doing what she could to get back to feeling like her usual self. However, she would go after just about any RDA craft or personnel she could find. Including feral animals such as the thanators, though she still gave rather emotional thanks after putting them out of their misery.
She finished off her recovery by finally making her way back to HQ, just in time for Jin-Young’s memorial service for the people lost in the destruction of the original HQ. She offered words of praise for her fallen friends, then accompanied Priya and Anqa in some RDA cleanup after the destruction of the Celebration Arches.

kaltxì! I’m back with another of my Sarentu ocs, this boy’s name is Nawm’tukru, meaning great spear
He is the youngest of the Sarentu, and has been doing his best to encourage his brother, Teylan, to explore more of Pandora and better embrace their Na’vì heritage. His favorite thing to do is talk to the ancestors, to better learn about his clan’s past and reconnect with old family members and friends.
Nawm’tukru also recently completed his iknamiya, and has spent more of his time than Alma would approve of on gathering various paints and making various pieces of gear for his new Ikran, Temek.

she also spent the day exploring the upper plains and admiring many Zeswa murals! she loves the style of painting, and she’s been collecting various different paints to bring along and show Koranu the next time she visits the Aranahe
hi guys!! just doing a general check in, since I’ve recently watched AFAA so I’ve honestly kinda gotten another kick into my Avatar ‘phase’
I may work on writing some more stuff, mostly oneshots probably but I’ve been kinda thinking about starting to rewrite/continue an avatar-based story that I have been posting (mostly on wattpad and I believe Ao3, and I think I posted some of it on here?)
in other news, I got a PC! so I’ve been playing AFOP again, a lot more frequently, and I’m finally able to get good quality images so I’m going to try and start fully/mostly fleshing-out my AFOP OCs and whatnot.

she has an Ikran named Katir (distant photo included but again will try to get a better one soon), who she spends most of her time with now that she is often spending time off in the Upper Plains exploring
and when Taw’saho is not exploring, she can usually be found visiting So’lek at the Resistance Base or visiting Koranu at the Aranahe Hometree (she may be a bit smitten with the weaver 🤭)

Hundreds, if not thousands, of Tumblr users are getting THIS VERY SAME MESSAGE about someone “accidentally reporting their blogs by mistake” and the message then asks them to contact them on discord.
What’s going to happen is that these scammers will ask you to change your tumblr email to the new one they give you.
The second you do this, your blog is gone.
Once your tumblr is registered under their email, they have full control of your blog, including your password and even possibly your other personal information.

i think because of the whole "writers write for themselves" notion that's becoming increasingly popularized, people forget that we still thrive off interaction and kindness. i write for myself but kudos and comments and bookmarks and really any sort of interaction with my fics genuinely motivates me to keep writing and keep sharing my works.
I can write for myself and never share it MUCH EASIER than writing for fandom. Writing for myself doesn’t require spellcheck, going back to make sure I’ve got continuity, uploading my story to whatever platform I’m using, writing a summary (hell), coming up with a title (half the time also hell), make sure I’ve got all the tags, and - then the biggest part - putting my creative work out there for people to scrutinize and worry whether or not annnnyone will connect to it or like it in any way.

They'll tell you to appeal it through discord because it'll be easier. ITS A SCAM. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!! I was too stupid to catch on and I was hacked. heyyy guys, I haven’t seen a specifically avatar-themed kinktober for 2025, so I tried to just find a general kinktober list and found this one!
