âI havenât been in the zoo forever. Letâs go to the zoo⊠I think itâs time you reunite with your family.â
âI think so as well!â Her hands clawed the air as she growled and laugh simultaneously. âIâve been dying to do so! Are you free right now?â
@mkhavoc
After being able to speak to her dad, even through the phone, Jamie would have never believed that sheâd end up crying. Especially not when she had an all-day schedule to commit too. It was now the end of the day, and Jamie found herself aimlessly wandering the halls of the company buldingâs many floors. It was late and the girl was under the impression that no one was around. Eventually she allowed herself to sit herself down against a wall, sobbing loudly until sheâd believed to hear footsteps somewhere near. Quickly, she stifled her sobs for a moment, hoping to hide her presence for the time being.

eyes widening slightly in surprise, eunha gives a strained smile back at the girl; taking a few steps back as jamieâs make up was finished (/iâm glad to see that youâre going to be taking this seriously) tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, she raising one eyebrow in mock excitement (/depending on my mood, i may or may not give you some tips in the middle of the shoot. but then again, thatâs only if youâre not utterly hopeless)Â
beckoning the girl over, eunha heads towards the set: a gorgeous victorian-themed room with luxurious items scattered throughout. of course, if youâre modelling dolce & gabbana everything has to be bubbling with wealth in return. sitting on a plush red chair, she looks at camera while speaking to jamie (/i hope you know how to balance in those stilettos, because youâre going to be standing)
âOf course! It is a job!â Jamieâs response was very firm, a matter of factly. Following her words, she added a small cough to clear her throat, wordlessly apologizing for her over-eagerness. A nervous laugh brushed past her lips quietly at the otherâs words. Sheâd almost asked if her words were a joke, but ultimately decided against doing so.Â
Like a dog, Jamie immediately reported upon call. âUh huh...â The younger girl replied quietly with a slow nod of her head. To be completely honest, she knew she wasnât the best in heels. Given the groupâs image, Jamie hardly ever wore heels for anything besides award shows. However, that provided enough confidence in herself that she could at least walk in the shoes. At this point, the girl just hoped that she could try her best to convince herself that she could do this, hoping that Eunha would believe the act as well.
Although Nara was trying to push herself to get each movement correctly, she pushed herself over the limit a little. It was nothing so serious though, she got a small sprain in her ankle after an accident in the studio. Not something she was truly worried about until she started getting a limp. Of course, she wasnât hiding it well enough because while walking slowly to her bag - a voice called out to her. Nara looked over with a small smile. âYeah just, stubbed my toe.â
âAre you sure about that?â Jamie continued to press further, shooting the other an even more concerned stare. âI didnât know a stubbed toe could cause that bad a limp.â She commented mindlessly as she walked over towards the other. If anyone could name a trait that accurately described Jamie Shin, it would be nosy. Now was one of those moments where it shone as bright as a shooting star. âCan I see?â
QÂ â Jamie
Q: wait
Q: that's not what i meant
Q: oppa is sorry (âïžżââż)
Jamie: it's ok oppa
Jamie: Jamie forgives oppa
Jamie: but she'd also forgive oppa more if he bought some ice cream (â°ËâĄËâ°)
Normally when it came to people she knew after the incident, anytime she smiled at them it never quite reached her eyes. But this young girl had managed to worm her way into her heart, and every time she smiled it was a genuine one, anyone could practically see the twinkle in Yuhyeâs eyes. But, it didnât help that Jamie reminded Yuhye of a young and lively Ai and at first, it was hard being around the younger girl. The constant reminder of her dead friend wasnât exactly something the brunette would like to revisit every day. But eventually, Yuhye saw it as a blessing and immediately began to care for Jamie like the little sister she never had. âIâm sure thatâs what youâll say to the next person who walks by if I refuse to help you. But, look no further. Your unnie is here to save the day.â
Jamie responded to the other with a firm shake of her head. âOf course not, unnie! I am your number one fan and Iâd only say such a thing to youâ even if you did refuse to help.â She spoke with an energetic giggle and melody in her voice. Her smile could only widen when the other had accepted Jamieâs plea for help. âUnnie, youâre the best!â Her body immediately jumped up in celebration, clapping her hands excitedly before allowing time to calm down. When she finally had, Jamie leaned in towards the other, unable to compress her smile. âI need help with a puppy.âÂ
âYikes indeed.â Hyeri agreed with a laugh as she looked at the younger female. âAnd it was into one of the shallow parts as well, Iâm actually surprised the dude survived the fall, to be honest.â The brunette hummed, speaking in English as she leaned back and smiled. âBut, he totally deserved it. I was twelve, nearly thirteen, and the dude was seven years older than me. What nineteen year old man tries to kiss a twelve year old girl?â
âOh my. I do agree.â She spoke, slight shock tracing her voice. To imagine something like that had been strange for Jamieâ she did not realize those sort of things happened anywhere outside of American television. Hearing the familiarity of her native tongue, the girl could not help but reply just as so. âThatâs definitely inappropriate. Iâm glad your brother was there to help! Did you know the other guy?â
Task 001: Daycare {Taesong x Jamie}
For the few seconds before the other talked, Taesong had a thousand worries circulating in his mind; was he too rude, did he offend her, and was she going to tell Zhen that he had been and would she be annoyed? He managed to regain a smile when the other began to talk, âHi!â His words were delievered with some brightness to them, though awkwardness was definitely evident. At this point he was glad it was Jamie - the two were born the same year and he was hoping that would lead to them being able to relate to each other. He shook his head, hoping his smile was somewhat comforting during the awkwardness being exchanged, âAh, nooooo Jamie-ah, it was my fault! I shouldnât be in the way of people - especially a sunbae.â He happily followed, partially because then he could meet the children because who wouldnât want to see large amounts of infants?
Taesong nodded as he looked around, taking in his environment. It was foreign, definitely not the studios and practice rooms he was used to, âMhm. Is it scary - on your own I mean? Iâm sure when you have others itâs easier, right?â There were definitely hints of nerves in his voice as he unknowingly began to fiddle with the hem of his shirt, âWhat if I make a fool out of myself and then nobody likes me when I debut?â
A wave of relief washed over the girl at the otherâs cheery response. It was easy for her smile to easeâ just slightlyâ considering it to be a small triumph of some sort. âOh my.â She blurted out sheepishly. âThereâs no need to use formalities with me. Letâs speak comfortably with each other!â Though she didnât voice her opinion out loud, she hoped that in doing so, being in each otherâs company would be less stiff.Â
As they walked through the doors of the daycare, Jamie took in the bright colors that surrounded the two. Everything seemed to be shrunk down, making the usually small girl feel much taller, almost powerful, even. The environment had immediately made her feel happier than she thought she would be. Hearing words come from the mouth of the other, Jamie made a trivial, but rapid, shake of her head, snapping her back to reality. âMuch easier. My members often help me stray from saying the wrong things on variety.â She explained with a light laugh. âWhen I debutâ. His words echoed through the smaller girlâs mind as heâd unknowingly answered a question which pondered in the back of her mind. âIâm certain that you wonât! Otherwise, the company probably wouldnât have sent you down. But here you are. There is definitely potential in you, Taesong.â Jamieâs words came out with a smile as she tried to comfort the other, noticing the nervous movements of his shirt.
âLooking at the river like this, it reminds me off the one time my brother threw this dude into the Sydney Harbour after he tried to kiss meâŠâ Hyeri mused, leaning down to rest her arms against the railing of the bridge of above the Han River before she turned to look at the other who stood beside her, also looking out over the river. âHave I ever told you that story?â
Jamieâs mouth remained open, seemingly incapable of shutting itself. The moments passed by seemed like an eternity, making it hard on the girl to form words with her mouth being as dry as it was. âUh, you havenât. But I would hate to be in that guyâs position...â Taking her eyes off the Han River for a moment, she began mumbling her thoughts out loud to herself. âInto the Sydney Harbour...yikes.â
âYou knowâŠ.I donât know whether to be offended or flattered,â Chobin muttered. Sheâd been on a variety show (which was something she usually tried to stay away from, admittedly), and when asked about her life before MK, Velocity had come up. And when she pointed herself outâa tiny eleven year oldâon the screen, the MCs had commented on how she looked exactly the same. âLikeâŠ.is my style the same? Do I rap like an eleven year old? Do I look like an eleven year old? Itâd be kinda fucked up if I did, wouldnât it?â
âOf course not, unnie!â Jamie quickly blurted out, waving her hand in the air to dismiss the elderâs negative thoughts. âYouâve definitely matured! They were just pointing out your everlasting youth, and probably calling you cute!â The girl finished her sentence with a smile. âYou should definitely be flattered.â
@naramk
Spending half her day in the studio, Jamie had continuously ran the same routine, knit picking each move down to the bone. There she was, dancing silently to the counts in her head, one last time before deciding to run it with the music (which was quite rare). However, as sheâd been popping her hip to the last beat, she noticed a peculiar sight through her peripheral, turning around to face the person in a single, fluid motion. âAre you okay?â
âI remember nothing of the sort!â Jinsoo replied, lying loudly and snickering to himself, throwing his hands up to stop her from running into him just in case she didnât hit the brakes in time. He grinned at her, keeping up the joke, âIâm strong and independent, donât you know. Iâve never needed help from anybody in my whole life! I think you might be thinking of another devilishly handsome idol, friend.â Sure, he was down to help her. BUt not without having a little fun first.
âYah! Oppa! Why do you lie?!â She yelled back, just as loudly as the other. Defensively, without her realizing, her eyes went wide. âI helped you avoid that one thing the other week! If it werenât for me, you would have been stuck in CEO Leeâs office!â At his compliment towards himself, Jamie shook her head once, firmly, hoping to speak without cracking a smile. âWhy are you like this?â
âIâd like to say that you canât go back on what you originally said about not worrying about it,â Jitae said, smirking, âBut since Iâm a nice person, iâll help you, whatâs wrong, little one?â
âOh, oppa. You and your jokes.â She laughed along, playfully making a face at the other. âThis little oneâ your most favorite and adoring dongsaengâ wants to go to the zoo, but doesnât know how to get there.â Concluding her sentence with a sigh, Jamie pouted, hoping the other would understand what she was asking.
Haejin didnât hear her initial shouts; that was the beauty with being deaf, he supposedâyou couldnât hear people shouting for you. Or maybe that was the downsideâŠ..either way, he didnât see her until he turned and jumped, noticing her running towards him and reading her lips just quick enough to mostly catch what was going on. âUmâŠwhat do you need help with?â
Before speaking, Jamie gave the other a meek, apologetic smile. Also being aware of just who he was, the girl made sure to speak slowly enough so that her words would be understood. âSo,â She began abruptly, her face becoming solemn quickly. âA fan sent me a bracelet, asking me to wear it, and of course I agreed. Butââ Holding up her wrist, there had been nothing to see but bare skin. âIâve lost it and itâs no where to be found. Please help me.â
