Reminder that tumblr keeps banning trans women's accounts for no reason and actively stated that.
Reminder that this is not about a single event, this is a repetitive pattern that happens *regardless* of if the trans women's blogs violate tumblr's guidelines or not.
Reminder that if it's only trans women calling this out, tumblr has an easier time covering it up because they just ban them.
Reminder that you've got to speak up against this bullshit now, that you've got to be loud, that you've got to support trans women because the places where they can speak are dwindling.
Reminder that pride includes trans women and you cant celebrate pride while ignoring the way trans women are getting silenced.
Reminder that we've got to help each other. It's pride month. Transphobes keep getting platformed and able to keep saying every hateful stuff they want. Help the community any way you can. Be loudly supportive to trans women and loudly against this discriminatory moderation

synopsis: every time kung lao even thinks about kissing you (which happens to be every time he lays eyes on you), the elder gods spawn someone out of nowhere solely to interrupt.

the corridor should have been empty. it was empty two seconds ago.
kung lao had you pressed against the cool stone wall before you could even tease him about being impatient, his hat long discarded on a nearby windowsill. his mouth was on yours; hot, hungry, and far too skilled for someone who swore he was “just saying hello.”
“missed you,” he murmured against your lips, voice low and cocky as always. one hand cupped your jaw, thumb brushing your cheek while the other gripped your waist, pulling you flush against him. “you have no idea what you do to me walking around in these robes all day…”
you laughed softly into the kiss, fingers threading through his hair. “we have a room, lao.”
“i know,” he growled, nipping at your bottom lip. “but i saw you and—fuck it.”
he kissed you harder, deeper, the kind of kiss that made your knees weak and your thoughts scatter. his body crowded yours, one thick thigh sliding between your legs just enough to make you gasp into his mouth. he smiled against your lips—smug, pleased, needy—and rolled his hips once, letting you feel exactly how much he wanted you.
the sound you made was barely muffled.
and that was when the universe decided to ruin everything.
a soft sound stirred at the end of the corridor, and suddenly, a monk who had definitely not been there before was walking toward you, eyes wide.
kung lao ripped away from you so fast he almost stumbled. he spun around, trying to look casual while subtly adjusting his robes.
“brother!” he called, voice a little too loud. “beautiful day for… walking. very spiritual.”
the monk blinked, bowed awkwardly, and hurried past.
the second he rounded the corner, kung lao groaned and dropped his forehead to your shoulder.
“i swear the elder gods are watching us,” he muttered. “every single time i even think about kissing you—”
you giggled, still breathless, running your hands down his chest. “maybe they’re bored.”
“they’re annoying.” he lifted his head, eyes dark with frustration and want. “i have self-control. i’m a champion. i’m disciplined.” he leaned in again, voice dropping to a whisper against your ear. “but you make me want to drag you into the nearest alcove and remind you who you belong to.”
your fingers curled into his collar. “then do it before the next divine interruption—”
too late.
another shift in the air. this time it was worse.
raiden appeared at the far end of the corridor in a flash of lightning, staff in hand, looking every bit the thunder god… until his eyes landed on the two of you. your flushed faces. kung lao’s messy hair. the way his hand was still possessively on your waist.
for one horrifying second, there was dead silence.
kung lao froze. you felt the exact moment guilt hit him, shoulders tensing as he started to pull back.
“lord raiden, i—” he began, respect and shame thick in his voice.
but then raiden’s lips twitched.
the stoic god of thunder actually snickered, covering it poorly with a cough.
“i see your training is… going well,” raiden said dryly, amusement flickering in his glowing eyes. “carry on. just… perhaps somewhere less public, my son.”
with that, he vanished in another crackle of lightning.
kung lao stared at the empty space for a beat, then buried his face in your neck with a mortified laugh.
“i’m going to die. he’s never going to forget this.”
you stroked his hair, giggling softly. “he called you his son while you had your hand halfway up my robes.”
kung lao groaned again, but the sound quickly turned into something hotter as he pressed a slow, open-mouthed kiss to your throat.
“…we’re going back to our room,” he decided, voice rough. “right now. and if anyone interrupts us there, i’m throwing my hat at them.”
you laughed as he grabbed your hand and started pulling you down the corridor, his usual cocky swagger only slightly ruined by the obvious tent in his robes and the flush on his cheeks.
Can I PLEASE talk about this scene. Why did he do this. There is genuinely no explanation for it other than aura.
And what kills me is Liu widening his eyes and scooting back like he knew exactly what he was gonna do. Like if he thought Lao was just rolling at him he wouldn’t have needed to back up with so much fear. He knew the hat would be floor level. Why. Why is he like this

Also, I feel as though this little walk Kung Lao does to reach his hat is the only tiger-like thing about him. I enjoy his walk very much,,, so cutee
I especially love how angry he seems to be with everyone else. He at the very least looks annoyed to be standing around with strangers, but with Liu Kang his face melts into an expression of pure unguarded happiness. Like he can't even pretend to be annoyed with Liu Kang when his obvious pride in him overwhelms his need to be a stank bitch. Extremely adorable
He better come back. I swear to god we better get him back.
They barely utilized his character at all. I’m only half way through (absolutely love this fight between Kung Lao and Liu Kang) and they definitely wasted Cole.
I’m gonna say this before I get the chance to see the movie.
They better not kill Cole.
At least not permanently. If they do, I will be swearing at the screen in the theater (despite the fact my mom wants to go see it with the whole family. And she would not be happy if I do.)
They made a Gary Stu. WB needs to stick to their guns and RUN WITH IT.
He has the potential to be a great SIDE character.
But also, they better not have made me love him with his family only for his wife and daughter to Lose Him.
I don’t care that I thought he was just ok as a main character in the first one.
I don’t care that most fans hated him.
I don’t care that they hate his stupid literal plot armor.
That’s the kind of campy bullshit I look to Mortal Kombat for!!!

I’ve been pretty bad at avoiding spoilers so I have a feeling of Doom looming. I swear to god it better at least but be a lame death. He better be SO fucking cool before hand. And his opponent better be someone he absolutely Could Not have beaten.
(Also, Hanzo Vs Bi-Han Round 3 better show off how cool they both are just as much as their fights in the first movie did.)
