“You’re evil Sola! Evil and more evil than I will ever be!” Taesong said, adding tasteful overreaction to make his point. He continued to pout - even with the reassurance that aegyo would come eventually. “Are you saying I’m not important?” He asked, emphasising his pout and lowering his head, “Don’t call be Sadsong, I’m Distraughtsong at this point.”

“I want all the shitty certificates in the world - oh my god can you sign them?” He asked with a smirk, “I don’t care about the reasonings on them, I just want some shitty certificates.” During the silence his thoughts were centred around the exchange of what should’ve been innocent kisses on the cheeks - something they’d done countless times before. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why it felt different but maybe he didn’t want to admit it in fear that she didn’t feel the same thing. “You’re only my Princess, not my queen,” he commented, grinning a little as he closed the door behind them, “Plus I’d have trouble opening the door so you’d fall out of my hands and we don’t want that, do we?”

“You know, I resent that. I may be a little evil, but no one can ever be more evil than you are. You may look cute and sweet, but we all know you’re the most evil on the inside. Look--you’re even pouting to make your point. You know pouting totally isn’t fair!” She rolled her eyes. “Oh, shush. You, my friend, are very important. But I’m not wasting your one aegyo pass now. Save it for sometime that really matters, not some random day after practice. Distraughtsong? You know, Overly-Dramaticsong has a better ring to it.”

“Yeah, of course! Not all at once, though--I might hurt my wrist or something. My hand would cramp up and stuff. I’ll make you so many certificates for so many things--you’ll see. It’ll be so great. I’ll even get you a special scrapbook to put them all in.” She glared up at him, crossing her arms over her chest. “Oh? Who is your queen, then? Who do I need to beat up to take my rightful place? I coulda opened the door for you, and then you wouldn’t’ve had to drop me!”

“You can’t say you have a plan and not tell me! That’s like super unfair and evil! And you call me evil? Solada Sindudeja you are the so much more evil than I am!” He exclaimed, struggling a little at the pronunciation of her last name but he had to remain strong with his accusation. “But I want aegyo! Sadsong will forever be sad - I’ll be known as the pouty puppy when I debut for sure.” He said, pouting just to make a point out of it.

“I’m not evil! Wait, did you call me cute?” He said, an eyebrow arched as he cocked his head to the side, “Do I get another shitty certificate for being cute?” He feigned offence for a few seconds, a look of disgust on his face, “You can’t? I’d promise to not do that either but seeing as promises are excluded, I hope you have good shampoo.” He challenged, a mock-threatening tone emerging. The rest of the walk to his dorm was in silence on his part, mostly because he didn’t know what to say. Sure he’d kissed Sola loads of times before on the cheek or on the forehead, but that was different back then. Maybe it was the newly found nickname. It had to be that, right? When they reached his dorm he put her down. “Here we are, the palace of Sadsong,” he said, motioning to his door.

“I can’t tell you my plan, Tae! Like I said, that’s not fair at all. It totally defeats the purpose. I can’t have you preparing for what I have in store, silly,” Sola said with a little giggle, patting his arm gently--even she had trouble pronouncing it when she was really tired. “I have to save it for sometime good, okay? You’ll get aegyo someday, Sadsong, don’t worry. I just have to save it for some time when it really matters. It’s gotta be super important,” she told him, poking his cheeks gently.

“I did cuz it’s the truth. You’re the cutest. I’ll make you as many dumb certificates as you want, silly,” She told him with a grin. She rolled her eyes at him, refusing to reply, and instead doing the best she could to give him the cold shoulder (which was really hard with him carrying her like this). The silence was a little awkward, but not unbearable. It gave her time to think about what had just happened and process it a little, because it felt different from every other time he’d given her a little peck on the cheek and deep down she knew why, but she wasn’t sure if she wanted to address that just now. She frowned a little when her feet hit the floor, looking up at him sulkily and following him inside. “You coudn’t carry me over the threshold? If you’re gonna carry me bridal style, at least do it right!”

“I could always pick you up Princess, just like I am now,” He remarked, sticking his tongue straight back out at her in retaliation. “Oh for sure,” He said, nodding, “Let all the aliens know we’re supportive of each other.” There was a pause as he pouted, much like he had at the beginning of this whole ordeal, “Sadsong is sad…”

“Then which one? I like Taela loads, it sounds cute - just like the both of us,” He commented, nodding as if he thoroughly enjoyed the name. “Evil, evil level? Two evils? I’m not that evil,” His words were delivered with a small pout because how dare she call him evil. “Of course it would be fun! We’d get food all over us but then that’s the whole point!” he said, nodding quickly. “My dorm? Got it!” With that, he began to walk in the direction of his dorm, not caring that he was still holding Sola as if they had just gotten married. An eyebrow was arched at her words and he feigned a grumble before a bright red flush spread across his cheek. Sola just kissed him on the cheek. Sola kissed him. Him. If it wasn’t for the fact he was holding her, he’d probably touch his cheek. Instead, he smiled awkwardly and repeated the action, “H-Happy, Princess?”. There was a definite stutter to his words, an unmissable awkwardness embedded within.

“I’d have a plan,” she said confidently, nodding at him and shooting him a wink. “I’m not going to tell it to you, though, because then you’d be able to prepare for it and possibly prevent it, and there’s no fun in that. Just know that I can take you out no matter what.” She nodded. “They need to know that no invasions can happen because we’re here, working together like a team.” Sola giggled. “Sorry Sadsong. Any non-aegyo way I can make it up to you, oppa?”

“Yeah, I liked that one too--it’s definitely the best,” she agreed. “You are too! You’re super evil--you’re just good at covering it up because you’re so cute,” Sola told him with a pointed glare, rolling her eyes slightly. “Tons of fun! I’ll try not to purposely dump any food on your head or anything, but no promises. I might not be able to help myself....” Her arms tightened more around his neck as they began to move, securing herself in his arms nervously. Yes, she trusted him. Of course she did. But she was quite far off the ground and it was frightening ever thinking about falling. She blushed too, both of them matching in their redness. Hiding her head against his chest, she stared at the ground. “Yep,” she replied quietly, her voice shaky with nerves.

“I will one day! Just you wait - maybe I’ll use my height against you and force you to confess, who knows.” He threatened, not knowing how much effect it’d have on her but he figured it was worth a shot. “Billions? I love it, post it all around Korea while we’re at it.” He laughed, a pout following a few seconds later, “Never? Not even for me? Sadsong…?”

“Taela? Songla? Sosong? Sota?” He wondered out loud, his tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth as he thought, “There’s too many combinations…” He didn’t fail to notice her blush, how could he not? It was like he was holding a tomato; she was that red. He knew the hit was coming and he laughed at it, “You could play this game too! It’s not my fault you’re not,” He challenged. He picked up on the bitnerness and decided to meet it with a bright smile, “We can do it together one day! Cooking, I mean. It’d be fun, plus it’d be more time together - right?” He proposed, hoping that one day such a thing would happen. “I think we should start moving - your dorm or mine…princess?” He asked, blowing her a kiss to go along with the new nickname he had found for her.

“Right. Come at me, Tae. I can take you on any day. Centre of gravity, remember? I can take you right out,” she threatened back, sticking her tongue out at him. “Why stop at Korea when we can post them around the world, of course. We should shoot some into outer space, too. Just in case there are some aliens chilling around and watching us. “You know, if you keep pouting like that, your face might get stuck like that forever,” she teased. “Sorry Sadsong. Can’t do it.”

“They all sound very nice,” she said with a nod, adjusting her arms around his neck. She knew he wouldn’t drop her, but she still needed that kind of tether to him. She’d hate to fall. “I refuse to stoop to your evil, evil level, Taesong. I’m not mean like you,” she teased. Smiling back at him, she sighed. She was lucky enough to be around someone like him. He always knew what to say or do to cheer her up. “Right. Let’s do it--it would be pretty fun......” She nodded, thinking. “Umm.....there are probably less people at your dorm than there is at mine--it’s probably our best bet.” She scowled a little as her face got darker red (was that possible?) and she sighed. “Do it right next time,” she grumbled, and in spite of her terrible blush, she adjusted herself so she could kiss him quickly on the cheek, still scowling as she did. He was so not fair.

“You love it really, don’t deny it,” he grinned. He nodded. “Why stop at the trainees? Let’s make loads of copies and hang them all over MK.” He rolled his eyes affectionately at her giggle and moved to poke her cheek, “You better do special aegyo for me when you debut. If you don’t I’ll be sad. Taesong’ll be replaced by Sadsong.”

“Good.” He said, nodding as if the answer was totally acceptable, “We need to name our kingdom, it needs to be the best kingdom ever.” He paused for a few seconds before smirking once again, “Though it already is because I have you as my queen.” He totally deserved a smack at this point and quite honestly, he was prepared for it. Totally worth it though. “I’m honestly in the mood for like a Chinese or something. Or Thai! Then you can tell me how it’s all supposed to be made and stuff.” He stuck his tongue out, awaiting anything to come from her.

“You’ll never get a confession out of me, you little monster.....little as in you’re not all that threatening, not in height. Because height-wise, you are clearly not little.” She grinned. “Oh of course, we’ll make billions of copies! Paper a couple walls with them! It’ll be great....” She glared at him playfully. “Sorry, Sadsong. As much as I wish you were happy, I don’t do aegyo,” Sola said innocently, shrugging a little bit.

“Hmmm....what to name it, what to name it.......We need to combine our names and name it after both of us,” she decided with a little nod. She blushed scarlet (clearly what he’d been aiming for), hitting his chest with her hand. “That was so uncalled for! Honestly, you’re gonna be the death of me. You are absolutely not playing fair at all!” She snorted, rolling her eyes at him. “I mean, sure. You say that like I’ve cooked before. I’m a privileged rich girl, remember? I had people to do that for me.” There was a little bit of bitterness to her tone, though she tried to disguise it. It was hard to be taken seriously when you were someone like Sola.. No work you did was ever valid, because people always assumed you just paid for the results.

“Dedicate a whole day? I don’t know…” Rian questioned with doubt. Whenever that next day would be, she had no idea– and chances were, she wouldn’t even recognize that free day for what it was until it had already passed. “That sounds like a good idea, though! We can start off with the five petal one and work up to the rose.” Instantly jumping into teaching mode, she unraveled another strand of ribbon from the spool and began folding it, going over the steps in her head as she prepared to show them to Sola. “I don’t think it’s too hard, you just have to sit down with it for a while. Go ahead and pick your color.”

“We’d find time,” Sola said confidently with a reassuring little nod, smiling brightly at the elder. She was an optimistic kid, to say the very least. “They’re all so pretty...are the very hard to make?” Sola asked with a grin, her eyes sparkling. Any time spent with the elder was time well spent and any opportunity to draw that time out was something she was going to take. She was interested in learning, of course, but she was mostly just excited to spend time with Rian. Watching her fold carefully, she hesitantly reached out for some green ribbon, trying to duplicate what the other had done. “Like this?”

“Anything’s better when I’m with you, for sure,” he said, smiling brightly at her. “I hope it is, I want my future members to question why I have it framed on my wall,” he nodded, being as serious as possible. He only laughed again when he saw her blush, seeing that his comment took effect. He did, however, feel some heat come to his own cheeks and for a second he was worried that he too was blushing. He shook his head quickly, “Not on purpose! How was I meant to know you’d react like that? You look cute by the way Sola-ah,” he grinned as he leant in to poke her cheek.

“Our kingdom of weirdos? I like it. You can’t bail though, we’re in this together now,” he stated, smiling again when he saw her flush. “You can’t do that! That’s being unfair now,” he claimed, pouting and shaking his head as if to move her away from that idea. “I will, I’ll get it custom made with your face on the back of it. Then they’ll know who I belong to for sure,” he said, nodding and being serious - she’d love the photos when that day comes and she sees him in the exact shirt he was describing. “A movie? Or a drama? And order in?” He asked, getting excited because that was way better than just food, “If you pick what we watch, can I pick what we eat?”

She sighed. “...Right, okay, while I totally set you up for that one, I’m still mad. Why do you keep doing this--it’s gonna kill me almost as quick as the aegyo,” she complained. “I mean, you’re staying at the trainee dorms, right? If we get it done right away, you won’t even have to wait for future members. Fellow trainees would question you and it’ll still be great,” she pointed out with a little giggle. She scrunched up her nose, resisting the urge to smack his arm again. “Of course I do; I’m always cute,” she grumbled, trying to deflect and pretend like she wasn’t as happy to hear that as she actually was.

“Why would I bail? Leave you with all the responsibility to shoulder on your own? No way. I wouldn’t do that. Like you said--we’re in this together,” she repeated with a little nod. “Hey, you started it. You said I wouldn’t be able to, when clearly, I can do anything I put my mind to,” she laughed, squeezing him a little--her silent way of reassuring him that she’d never hurt him and that she was just joking. “I’m sure I’ll love it when the time comes,” she laughed, resting her head back on his shoulder for a little while more. “Either. I don’t mind. I just need to be lazy today. I’ve been shoving my schedule too full or rehearsals this week. I don’t want to burn out....” She nodded a little, smiling. “That sounds like a good deal to me.”

“The more people come, the easier people will recognize us… or was it the other way around?” He frowns, walking towards the company’s parking lot. “Anyway, the less people come the better.”

“I think you’re probably safe if you’re with me. No one would expect Cygnus from UNION to be going anywhere with a trainee,” she pointed out, shrugging. Plus she looked like a little kid. Even less suspicious. “Awesome. Less people for me to pay for.”

“It’ll be the highlight of my week, promise,” he stated, agreeing with her, “Oh for sure, I might even frame it.” He cracked a smile as he rolled his eyes playfully. “Are you sure the heat isn’t coming from yourself?” he said, doing his best to appear sexy because it was always fun to drop in a pick-up line, right? He burst into a fit of giggles afterwards which totally helped to conceal the small hints of blush on his face. The laughter stopped when he was poked, causing a pout to form on his face for a few seconds, “No fair! You can’t do that…”

“And you love me for it,” he grinned, “Besides you’re equally as weird - or are we forgetting that fact so I can be crowned the king of the weirdos?” Taesong shrugged, his grin still in tact, “Centre of gravity? Please, I’m sure the length of my legs’ll come in handy when trying to balance myself - and no that’s not an invitation to test it.” Part of him toyed with the idea of bouncing her, just to torture her but was it worth it? He didn’t feel like being denied free food so he of course opted not to. “Possessive, are we? I’ll take note of that - at the first signing I go to when I debut I’ll wear a sign saying ‘Property of Sola,’ how does that sound?” He said, fighting back laughter.

“Of course it will be; you’ll be with me,” she declared, false arrogance rolling off her. “Aww, really? You’re so sweet. I’ll be sure to make it extra shitty, just for you,” she promised, attempting to ruffle his hair. A prominent blush appeared on her cheeks and brought her hands up to try to cover it, smacking at his arm when that proved to be useless. “I’m no fair? No way, you’re totally not fair. You’re the worst. My face feels like it’s on fire--you did this on purpose. You’re evil,” she grumbled, hoping the blush would fade rather quickly.

“Every king needs a queen, right? We can both be super weird,” she told him, before realizing what she said, her blush returning in an instant. What the heck was up with her today? “Nah. I’ll karate chop the back of your leg and you’ll fall right over. I’m small but mighty. I could so take you down.” She chewed her lip, shrugging. “So what if I am? Ooh, wear a t-shirt that says that. Way more permanent.” Her head still resting on his shoulder, she sighed. “You know, I’m in the mood to watch something. Lets order in and watch a drama or something. Start a movie. I dunno. I’ll still pay....”

[ ♛ @mksola ] “Here, try this one. The color goes good with your skin,” Rian suggested, holding up the turquoise hair clip in her hands for Sola to see. The free days in between her schedules were often spent as leisurely as she could manage. Usually that meant sleeping for more than four hours straight, but today it involved making ribbon flowers in the company of one of her good friends as she idly tuned out the movie they had playing. “Wouldn’t it be so cute to make a bunch of these into a flower crown? It would probably take forever, but I want to try it… I can make you one too, but I have no idea when I’d actually be able to get it done.”

The trainee beamed brightly, gently taking the clip with a little bow. “Ah, thanks unni! It’s so pretty...” she murmured, putting it in her hair and quickly pulling out her phone and using the front-facing camera to check herself out (Rian had been right--it looked good on her). “Oooh, you need to teach me how to make them and I’ll help you. We can just dedicate a day to making them....what if we both made one for each other? That would be so cute!”

“That’s more like it!” Driving is something he’s willing to do, he may not be the best, but he’s confident enough.

“We have a deal, then?” she confirmed happily, putting her hands on her hips. “Awesome. I call shotgun. I mean, I didn’t expect anyone else to be coming with us, but just in case.”

“Can it be made in MS Paint? With comic sans? I’d really like a shitty certificate if you’re offering,” he said, smirking all the while. He nodded in agreement, “Besides, who else would I have to ask how the weather is for the short people?” He stated with a small laugh, bracing his hands for any attacks that’d come his way.

“Tell her if you want, she’d probably agree with me,” he replied, shrugging his shoulders - he could say a lot about Zhen and get away with it, a thing he liked to utilise every so often. “Little as in age? Because I mean by height I bet you were the same,” he teased, an eyebrow raised as if he was challenging her to answer that question. He squeezed her gently as she rested her head on his shoulder, as if it was instinctive. “I don’t know, maybe my face is that hideous that he decided to be sick to get away from me,” he said, shrugging his shoulders.

“Mhm, but only if you help me make it. Together we can make the shittiest certificate ever. And it’ll be more special if we make it together, anyway,” Sola said with a little giggle, poking him. “For the record, it’s pretty damn warm. I’m closer to hell, so it gets pretty hot sometimes,” she said with a roll of her eyes, faking like she was going to hit him until he put his hands up, and then dodging under them so she could poke him in the stomach. “Gotchya,” she muttered with a little grin.

“She’s weird, then. You too. You’re super weird. The absolute weirdest of them all,” she muttered, smiling and glaring at him. “Yes, little as in age. You know, I may be tiny, but that just makes my center of gravity lower. Yours is higher, so it’d be pretty easy for me to knock you over. Just keep that in mind....” she threatened--it was an empty threat, but she treated it as though it was real. It was kind of nice being like this, once she got over how far off the ground she was. He had her--she trusted him. She was safe. Plus he was really comfy. “Her loss then. More Taesong for me,” Sola replied, smiling a little.

Taesong puffed his chest out proudly, grinning as he said with an equal tone, “I’m glad I could be the first to do the pun.” He nodded, “Of course I’d give you a warning, a dead Sola is a Sola I don’t want to deal with.”

“But Zhen’s slow, so it can’t be too quick.” he said, blinking a few times before laughing himself. “Piggy-backs are boring,” he said with a shrug, “This is more fun. Nobody knows who you are? That’s not fair, you should be like pre-debut famous for sure. People only know me for the variety show I did with Jamie - I nearly had a kid be sick on me it was horrible. So the public knows my disgusted face.” He made sure he had a firm grip on her, because a.) he didn’t want to drop her and b.) he didn’t want to deal with the repercussions of dropping her.

“Congratulations, superstar. I’ll make you a certificate or something, just to prove it,” she muttered, rolling her eyes at him and grinning. “I feel you. I don’t really want to deal with a dead Sola either,” she teased.

Sola giggled, grinning. “I’m gonna tell her you said that,” she threatened jokingly. She shrugged. “I mean, a few people might know who I am. I’m in some predebut videos of all the groups. I’m even in some Haven pre-debut videos. But I was really little, so not a lot of people will recognize me,” she explained. In Thailand, that was different. Everyone knew her and her family. If she ever did debut in a group, boy--would that group ever be popular in Thailand.....Her arms tightened some more around his neck and she rested her head on his shoulder. “Poor kid. Did he eat something bad or something?”
