All characters are actually humanoid, but drawn fully-cat to make it easier for myself (think the opposite of Uchitama)
This world has different laws (purely an excuse to not have CPS on everyone’s arse)
While there are many more characters in the STRAYS universe, these are the main characters and also my favourites
If you recognise the names, this is because they were somehow a FNAF AU before I turned them all into cats
Jay is Cassidy and Kelsey’s older brother Kelsey is adopted
Jay raised Cassidy almost entirely on his own
When they met, Jay was 10, Cass was 6 and Kels was 8
With Kels was Andrew, aged 4
Kels and Andy were both experimented on from a young age, but they managed to escape after Kelsey overheard the scientists wanting to kill Andy for an experiment
The three lived on the streets(hence the name STRAYS) until they were 16, 12, 14 and 10
They were taken in by Sammy’s older brother who’d just gotten custody of both him and his twin sister Charlotte
It was around this time that Sam transitioned and changed his name
Cassidy actually already knew them from her few years of schooling, when they were her best friends
While Sam remained their best friend, it didn’t take long for Cass get a huge crush on Char
Problem arise from this but I’ll spare the details for now
By this point, it was impossible for Jay to catch up on schooling, and so every college he applied for expectedly rejected him, his old academic dreams down the drain
Andrew ran away when he was 13, devastating Kelsey(17), he’s always been distant, but this was unexpected
Jay struggles with the fact that he doesn’t need to be a parent anymore, blaming himself when Andy flees
Sam and Kels started dating at 14 and 16 they made the age gap work, it’s only 2 years
The two went on holiday for Sam’s 18th, but got stuck in another country(that I’m get to decide on) for half a year
Sammy got pregnant two months before they came home
During the time they were away, Cassidy(18) took in 3 kittens(6) that were living where she and her brothers had been all those years ago
These are 2 girls and a boy, though the runt afab comes out as enby later in life
Sam(20) and Kels(22) spot Andrew in a park, triggering a huge argument between Kelsey and Andrew(18)
Kelsey is furious and hurt, and Andrew refuses to give any information on where he’s been the past five years
The argument ends after Andrew snaps that they’re not brothers and never have been
Here’s Moony in a pumpkin for Halloween, it was actually drawn last Halloween but I didn’t have Tumblr then (we’re coming close to this blog’s 1 year anniversary)

“They’re perfect” A white tom purred, looking down at the three kits huddled at his mate’s stomach.
“Three little kits, what should we name them?” The black she-cat asked, her eyes not leaving the three balls of fur for a second for a second.
“Why don’t we give them matching names?”
“They’re our little lights, they will shine brightly in this world.”
“Why don’t we name the tom Nightlight? And the spotted she-cat Starlight?”
The black cat gave a purr of approval, “And what to name the littlest one?”
As if on cue, the littlest kit lifted her little head to show a big white circle of fur on her head.
“Good morning, Moonlight.” She gave the kit with closed eyes a lick over the head.
The other kits were starting to move now, wriggling around and trying to stand up but their tiny legs not allowing them. Their mother stifled a purr of laughter and licked each kit in turn.
“Oh Planet, they’re just perfect!” The black queen purred, finally letting her eyes leave her kits to meet with her mate’s.
