No one talks about how isolating it feels to not identify with any label. All this pride about this label and that identity and this group. I feel like if I don’t say I’m gay or bi or lesbian or pan or omni or ace or aro or trans or nonbinary or literally ANYTHING then I’m not queer enough. But I don’t feel like any of that. I just know I’m queer because I like who I like and I feel how I feel. But labels just don’t feel right. And it feels so damn isolating.

So happy pride to all my unlabelled folks out there, and to all the people yet to discover themselves, and to all the people who are still figuring everything out 🏳️‍🌈
