ML Calendar project — Contributor application

Because of a sudden influx of applicants at the end of our time, we’ve extended our contributor application until APRIL 17TH (11:59 CET)

We’re still looking for fan artists and writers to work collaboratively to create a third edition of a 12-month calendar (available for free download; as well as a Print-On-Demand period with all proceeds going to UNICEF) and an online only 4 chapter fic that will slowly be shared during 2027! 💗 all under the theme: Falling.

Here’s how things will go for our upcoming calendar year! 💗 written out schedule will be under ‘more’.

We'd still like to clarify that, even though we'll have online shop, the digital calendar will still be available on a 'pay-what-you-can' basis, donation optional! Any money made while the shop is open, will be donated to our cause we'll announce soon.

2027 donations will be going to Unicef 💙

This time around, we wanted to make some changes; specifically to help out the world, and to make the physica copy available easier!

We will be setting up a temporary webshop from November 1st until January 24th, where all profits will be donated on the final day to Unicef.

The digital calendar will be available with a optional donation; while the physical calendar will be ordered and handled through a Print on demand service, so it’s printed close to where it needs to be shipped! <3

Contributor applications open tomorrow (March 20th) so don’t forget to apply! 💕

ML Calendar project - Back for a 2027 calendar release! 💗

MLCP is a fan run project that creates a 12-month calendar full of MLB fanart that will be free to download to the fandom.

This year, it’ll also accompanied by a fanfiction, written by 2-4 writers that will consist of 4 chapters slowly released one by one throughout each weather season! We will be looking for artists and writers soon, so keep an eye out for our contributor applications.

[ NEW ]

For this release, a webshop will be temporarily opened so you can now order your calendar through us through print on demand (printed locally to you)!

In this space, the digital calendar will also be available on a ‘pay-what-you-can’ basis, donation optional. All money raised will be going to a Non-profit to be determined with our audience input shortly!

Hello! Do you plan on releasing a 2026 edition? The project is just so beautiful with so many talented artists!

Hi,

As much as I’ve loved this project, and have worked on expanding it, I sadly never had enough mod support to create it without completely overloading myself even after reforming the team 2 years in a row.

I wanted to take a break this year and see how it feels, but I’ve only ever ended calendar release day in tears and completely burnt out, not caused by our wonderful artists/writers.

I appreciate the love this project has gotten and I do think this has been so cool to create, but I cannot do it again starting strong and dragging myself over the finish line alone.

Maybe onto next year 💗
