This is Lauren, who I’d mentioned before. Lauren Brewster. She’s Sophie’s mom, and my favorite bartender at my regular hang-out, which her family owns.
She’s a sweet lady, but she doesn’t take anyone’s crap.
And she’s got this purple rose tattoo! I’ll have to remember to ask her about that at some point.
The one on the left is my sketch. My pal, Kathryn, colored the one on the right for me.
It’s still St Patrick’s day weekend, right?
Lauren gave me a Guinness and a four leaf clover. I appreciate both of these things. Probably more so because I’d already had a few. ... Drinks, not clovers.
My birthday is always kinda rough. Luckily Sophie, my friend Lauren’s little girl, came around to cheer me up.
The cupcake was made of play-doh. But it’s the thought that counts.

I didn't know how much I needed this until right now.
I thought I could let this blog go, but I can't.
To be clear, this is a blog made for Mark L Mulligan, a character that was supposed to co-star in a web-comic that never got out of development hell and likely never will. I fully realize nobody cares about this character, but me. I'm not complaining, just acknowledging a fact. I mean, I haven't given anyone else a reason to care about him. (...yet)
I still want to keep this as a side blog, for my own enjoyment/venting/exploring and developing this character and his world.
