Here you can see cosplays of Mario universe characters : Mario (with Toad as Peach), paper Mario, Daisy, Waluigi and Candy Kong (because I always feel like Donkey Kong characters are still from Mario universe somehow).

All koopas came there as they heard the koopagirl's voice… Sorry Mario, I know you haven’t done it on purpose but… game over anyway

We think they just can be male because of the underwear but that happened just in Marioworld ^^ In SMB1 and SMB3 we nothing is implied :XD:

I made it in 2011 while listening to some Arthur Kirkland songs... I'm not a big fan of the Hetalia series but I like England's songs. ^^ I think this is the reason why this koopa has green eyes... ^^;

The most difficult part was to make him close his eyes and look on the right at the same time... But it was quick as well... Maybe 30 minutes...

Exactly what I thought. Nintendo never claimed Toad and Toadette to be romantically involved, nor did it claim they were siblings or anything. It was all up to the fans, or the theories lovers. :)
