Happy New Year folks..!!

Earlier I was invited by the amazing Sakuga Blog to write about some of my favourite animated works of 2019 for their Animation Awards series alongside some real fantastic writers and amazing members of the anime industry...!

It was a very new experience to reflect on the things I had watched and loved over the year and try to put what was great about them into writing, and I hope it’ll be a fun read for someone out there! (shoutout to the editor/s!!)

#hoshiai no sora #stars align #hns #futsu rintarou #ameno itsuki #I've been wanting to draw this paro for a while haha #I also did kendo in university and our team was pretty strong and went to nationals but I moved to another university the next year #I joined the kendo club at the new uni too but I felt really awkward and embarrassed for some reason #and ended up quitting really fast to focus on my studies but I kinda wish I had continued haha #at least I can have fun animating sword fighting scenes now jhgfdfghjkm

☆　a little test doodle I made to try out the new camera features in Clip Studio Paint! I’m still new to using the program but it’s surprisingly well-suited for production purposes and a lot of people in the anime industry are using it now!
