you pull at the dress, staring at your reflection in the full length mirror with a small frown. it looked fine when you bought it, but now, standing in zayne’s room before your dinner reservation, you’re convinced the color is off snd the fit is wrong. behind you, the quiet sound of zayne adjusting his dark suit jacket stops.

he turns around slowly, his calm eyes sweep over you from head to toe studying you with a quiet focus he uses for everything.

“what makes you say that?” zayne asks, voice smooth as he steps away from the drawer.

“just look at it,” you reply, turning to glance at him. “the waist sits weirdly and the color makes me look tired. i should just put on something else.”

zayne doesn’t answer right away. he closes the distance between your two in two long strides until he’s standing right behind you in the mirror. his hand reaches out, resting gently on your waist, fingers spreading over the fabric, warm against your skin.

“that is a very inaccurate assessment,” he murmurs, green eyes meeting yours. a faint warmth flickers in his eyes. “in fact, i disagree with you entirely.”

“zayne, i’m being serious,” you say softly, turning around in his hold so you’re facing him. “you don’t have to just say nice things.”

“you know i don’t give false compliments. especially when it comes to you.” zayne replies calmly.

his other hand comes up, long fingers gently cupping your jawline. his thumb brushes over your cheek, tilting your head to look up at him.

“you look beautiful,” zayne says quietly, his voice dropping to that soft velvety tone that leaves no room for doubt. “the color suits you perfectly. honestly, i’ve been having a difficult time keeping my eyes off you since you walked out.”

a sudden warm flush creeps up your neck. “you...have not”

“i have,” he admits, a rare subtle smirk touching his lips, the kind that makes your chest tighten in the best way possible. “it is becoming quite a distracting. if anyone has a complaint about this dress, it should be me.”

a soft laugh escapes your lips, all doubt melting away under his steady gaze. “so..you don’t think i should change?”

“i would strongly advise against it,” zayne whispers, leaning down until his lips brush the soft skin right under your jaw. he presses a slow, gentle kiss there, his warm breath fanning across your neck and sending a shiver down your spine.​his hand on your waist tightens just enough to pull you a little closer against him.

​“now,” zayne murmurs against your neck, his thumb still lightly caressing your jaw. “are you going to accept my opinion, or do i need to convince you?”

​zayne lets out a quiet, amused hum before leaning up to press a lingering, sweet kiss directly to your lips. “i merely state the facts.”

Kind of crazy how it's kind of Grace's lack of memories aboard the Hail Mary that frees him from the shackles of himself and allows him to brave. The amnesia sort of frees him of the weight of himself. Not remembering that he's a coward enables him to find that bravery within himself much easier, as if that barrier has been removed. By the time he remembers he's already done the thing he was scared to do — he knows he can do it — so turning around to save Rocky isn't that difficult after all. It's probably the easiest choice he's had to make so far.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think I would also find it much easier to be brave if I couldn't remember being afraid

Zayne had prepared for this. For the possibility of you staying the night.

He had prepared for it in the same way he prepared for everything else: thoroughly, logically, and with an almost unreasonable amount of attention to detail.

The bathroom had been cleaned twice. There was a fresh towel folded neatly on the counter. A spare toothbrush sat beside the sink. A new tube of toothpaste. A glass. A hair tie.

He had even moved his skincare products to one side so you would have enough room for your things.

And then there was the bedroom. The sheets had been changed. The thermostat had been adjusted to what he remembered was your preferred temperature.

There was an extra blanket folded at the foot of the bed. A glass of water sat on the nightstand.

Along with a small dish containing two pieces of chocolate because you once mentioned, offhandedly, that you liked having something sweet before bed.

Zayne stared at the arrangement before glancing at the clock, then back. Something was wrong. He couldn’t determine what. His phone buzzed.

You: I’m downstairs!

His stomach dropped. Zayne stared at the message. He had operated on patients with steadier hands than the ones he currently had.

He typed.

WebMD: I’ll be down shortly.

He deleted it. Typed again.

WebMD: Coming.

Deleted that too.

Eventually, he settled on:

WebMD: I’ll open the door.

He stared at it. Why had he sent that? It was his apartment. Of course he was going to open the door. He set his phone down. Picked it back up. Checked the message. Then put it away again.

Zayne exhaled slowly as the doorbell rang. He was a doctor. He was an adult.

He was perfectly capable of opening his own front door without behaving like he was about to sit for an examination.

He opened it and promptly forgot every thought he’d had. You stood there with an overnight bag hanging from one shoulder.

“Hi.”

“Hello.”

There was a pause.

You smiled which caused him to look at you for a second too long.

“You’re staring.”

“I know.”

At least he was aware, right? That makes it less weird. Thankfully, you seemed to have found it endearing and just laughed.

Zayne stepped aside, “Come in.”

You walked past him and stopped just a few steps in. Your eyes traveled around the apartment. Everything looked normal.

Suspiciously normal.

Except for the fact that there was a pair of new slippers waiting beside the entrance.

You looked down at them, “Are those for me?”

“Yes.” He replied too quickly.

Your eyebrows lifted.

“I think they’re rather small to be mine.” Zayne glanced at the slippers. “They’re house slippers.”

“You bought me house slippers?”

“They were practical.”

You picked them up. They were soft. And your favorite color.

You looked at him suspiciously.

“You remembered my favorite color.”

“I remember most things you tell me.” There was something about the way he said it that made your expression soften, like he was swearing it.

“Oh.”

Zayne looked away. He had suddenly become very interested in the door.

“Your bag.”

“I can carry it.”

“I know.” He reached for it anyway. “But let me.”

You let him take it, “You’re nervous.”

“I am not.”

“You are.” You smiled. You’d known Zayne long enough to know when he was spiraling in his head. “You’re doing the thing.”

His gaze returned to you. “What thing?”

“The thing where you pretend everything is completely normal while internally having a crisis.”

“I don’t have internal crises.”

“You’re a terrible liar.”

“Fine,” He sighed. “Perhaps I’m a bit nervous.”

You followed him to the bedroom, then stopped again. Your eyes widened.

“Zayne.”

He glanced back.

“What?”

You took in the sight before you. The sheets were very evidently brand new and freshly washed, the new blanket still has a small plastic tab from the tag that had been on it. The chocolate and water on the nightstand were sat there as if to say, “welcome! welcome!”

Your voice softened, touched, “You bought my favorite chocolate.”

“You had it in your purse at the park last week.”

“I did?..”

“Yes, you gave me a piece.”

You stared at him. For some reason, that seemed to make him more nervous than anything else. He cleared his throat.

“If anything is uncomfortable, you can tell me.”

“Zayne.”

“Hmm?”

“This is already more preparation than I’ve had for some actual vacations.”

His mouth twitched, “That’s reassuring.”

“You really wanted me to be comfortable.”

“I always do.” The answer came quietly and with no hesitation.

You beamed, probably for the thousandth time since you showed up. “I am.”

His shoulders relaxed by the smallest amount “Good.”

He set your overnight bag down on top of the dresser as you looked around again.

“Oh, damn it!” You ran a hand down your face in realization, “I forgot my toothbrush!”

“I bought you one, don’t worry.”

“Why?”

He was silent for a moment, “Because you’re staying, and I knew you’d forget something.”

You blinked. Zayne looked toward the window. The city lights reflected faintly against the glass.

His voice was quieter when he continued, “And I wanted there to be something here that was yours.”

The room went still.

You could feel your chest practically caving in from the thoughtfulness of his actions, “You’re cute when you’re nervous.”

Zayne sighed, “Do you think I overprepared?”

“Maybe a little.”

“A little?”

You walked closer, “Zayne.”

“Yes?”

“You bought me slippers. You bought a toothbrush. You went out and found my favorite chocolate.”

“Which is only sold in one store in Linkon, now I know where to take you on bad days.”

“And you changed your entire bed.”

“It was due.”

“Of course.”

He could tell you were teasing him based on your grin, and somehow, that made it easier. Until you reached for his hand. His fingers immediately tightened around yours.

“You really are nervous.”

He looked down at your connected hands, “I’m terrified.”

The honesty surprised you. You waited though he didn’t elaborate. So you squeezed his hand.

“It’s okay, Zaynie.”

His thumb brushed lightly across your knuckles, “I wanted everything to be perfect.”

“You don’t have to make everything perfect.”

“I know I don’t.”

“Then why did you?”

Zayne looked at you. For a moment, he seemed to consider giving you some sensible answer. Instead, he told the truth.

“Because this is the first time you’re staying here And I wanted your first night here to be a good one.”

Your smile grew, “It already is.”

He looked unconvinced. His brow furrowed as he thought, “When you stay again tomorrow, everything will seem less nerve induced.”

“Tomorrow?”

“Yes.”

“You’re assuming I’m coming back?”

“Are you not?” Zayne’s expression went completely serious. “I was hoping you would come after work. Perhaps we could make dinner together instead of ordering take out.”

Your smile softened, “I will.” A small laugh managed to escape you, “You’re unbelievable.”

“How so? I thought I was being sweet.”

“You were. You were hoping I’d stay again before I’d even stayed once.”

He didn’t answer. Which was answer enough. You stepped closer and rested your head against his shoulder. Zayne went still for a millisecond. Then, slowly, his arm came around you.

You smiled against his shirt. “I’m glad I’m staying.”

His hand settled gently at your back. “So am I.”

There was a comfortable silence.

Then you lifted your head, “One more question.”

“What’s that?”

“Did you already order take out?”

He paused, “Not yet. That part I waited for you to choose.”

You laughed and he closed his eyes. That sound had become his favorite over the past two months you’ve been together.

Zayne looked at you. Then at the perfectly prepared room. Then back at you.

For all his planning, all his lists, all his careful preparation, this was the one thing he hadn’t accounted for..

How having you there would finally make his apartment feel like home.

- this is inspired by my sister telling me that her boyfriend got drunk, forgot that they’ve been dating for two years, and asked her on a first date again.

You knew something was off the moment the front door opened more hurriedly than normal.

He normally came home quietly. Shoes neatly placed by the door, coat hung up, keys placed in the little dish by the entrance.

Tonight?

His shoes were approximately three feet apart. His coat was hanging halfway off the coat rack. And Zayne was standing in the hallway staring at you.

You looked up from the couch.

“…Zayne?”

He blinked a few times as if surprised by your presence. Then smiled. A very soft, very sleepy smile.

“Hello.”

You stared at him, “You’ve been drinking.”

“I have not.”

“You absolutely have.”

He frowned thoughtfully, “Maybe.”

You laughed.

“How much did you drink?”

“An appropriate amount.”

“That’s not an answer.”

He walked toward you with all the careful concentration of someone navigating a very complicated obstacle course.

When he reached the couch, he stopped. And stared at you again. You raised an eyebrow.

“What?”

“You are very beautiful.” He smiled.

You immediately knew where this was going.

“Oh no.”

“What?”

“You’re drunk.”

“Tipsy. Difference.”

He very carefully sat beside you. Then turned toward you with the solemn expression of someone about to discuss something incredibly important.

He reached over and took your hand. His thumb brushed over your wedding ring. He stared at it for a long moment but didn’t seem to truly register what it was.

“I love you.”

You smiled.

“No.”

You blinked. “No?”

“You don’t understand.” He leaned closer. “This is very serious.”

You had to press your lips together to stop yourself from laughing.

you called xavier while you were grocery shopping. the plan was simple. you were going to his apartment later for a baking date, and since you knew his pantry was probably lacking anything remotely useful, you decided to ask what ingredients he already had before buying everything yourself. although, if you were being honest, you suspected the answer was going to be very little.

xavier answered after a few rings. "hey. do you need something?"

you smiled at the familiar sound of his voice.

"do you have—any..."

you looked around the supermarket. the aisles were unusually crowded. boxes were stacked everywhere, carts were blocking the shelves, and employees were busy restocking. the perfect timing.

"what? can you say that last word again?"

you frowned and looked down at your phone. the call was still connected. xavier's name was still displayed on the screen. so why couldn't he hear you?

you brought the phone closer and spoke a little louder. "i said, do you—"

static suddenly ripped through the speaker. the loud crackling made you pull the phone away from your ear. seriously your service, again? you knew you should have upgraded your phone the last time you had the chance. somehow, every time you left home, your signal decided to disappear at the worst possible moment.

"do i what?"

xavier's voice came through again, quieter this time. "is everything okay?"

"it is the only explanation i have."

you tried to stay annoyed. you really did. but then he stepped closer, his expression softening as his hands reached for you.

your face relaxed. "i guess i should have called back when i got out of the tunnel."

you continued scrolling. there were at least twenty more. you weren't even sure when he had managed to type all of them.

i don't understand what happened but i am willing to take the blame.

are you ignoring me?

that is fair. i deserve it.

but please know i am suffering.

you covered your face with your hand. you immediately tried calling him back but it steadily beeped. you checked your signal bar. no bars.

you looked at the nightclub entrance. your friends were waiting. the night was supposed to be fun. but now you had a very dramatic boyfriend somewhere thinking his entire relationship had ended because of a bad phone connection.

you sighed, "sorry guys."

your friends looked at you. "what happened?"

you held up your phone, "rafayel."

they immediately understood. "again?"

you nodded, apologizing as you left the line, already knowing where you were going. by the time you reached his place, you weren't even surprised that the door opened before you knocked. rafayel stood there. his hair was messy, and his expression was devastated.

you stared at him, "rafayel."

he looked at you for all of 0.5 seconds then immediately pulled you into a hug.

"i thought you were gone."

"raf-"

"i was prepared to give you space." he interrupted

you couldn't help laughing. he pulled back, looking offended.

"this isn't funny. you broke up with me over a phone call."

"but the thing is i actually didn't."

"you said you were breaking up with me."

"i said the call was breaking up!"

rafayel froze, "what?"

"the signal dropped." you held up your phone. "the nightclub was loud, my service was terrible, and you heard half a sentence."

his expression slowly changed devastation turning into hope, "you mean..."

"i mean i was not breaking up with you."

there was a pause, then his shoulders dropped. the dramatic despair faded into embarrassment.

"oh...so i see now that i panicked."

"you contacted my work email."

"i was desperate!" he looked away. "i thought i was losing my muse."

you softened immediately, because underneath all the drama, that was the real reason. he loved deeply. sometimes too deeply.

you reached up and fixed his hair, "you are dramatic. "

"and..."

"and i love you."

his expression brightened immediately as he pulled you into the house and closed the door.

"good. does this mean girls night is over? i just want to know if i should order dinner."

you laughed, "you're unbelievable."

"but?"

you sighed, "but yes. order dinner."

he kissed your forehead. "next time, please don't break up with me."

"next time, please let me finish a sentence."

you should have known answering a call during a mission was a bad idea - but it was sylus. and despite everything you claimed about being professional, you always answered when it was him.

your phone buzzed as you moved through the abandoned district, scanning the area for Wanderer activity. you accepted the call.

"you're calling me during work hours?" you teased.

a low chuckle came through the speaker. "and you're answering during a mission. seems we're both making questionable decisions."

you rolled your eyes. "you missed me."

"obviously."

you opened your mouth prepared to continue teasing him. then something moved behind you.

"sylus, hold on."

a wanderer lunged. you dodged, your phone bouncing against your shoulder as you fought back.

"are you seriously fighting while we're on the phone?"

"kind of busy!"

"i can tell." there was amusement in his voice.

you fired back at the wanderer, moving quickly across the street.

"stay there!"

"i am not the one you need to tell that to."

the wanderer attacked again, and you grunted, pushing it back.

"sylus, i'm breaking—" static swallowed your voice.

his expression changed. "what?"

you were still talking but all he heard was fragments.

"i'm breaking..." the signal crackled. "...with you."

he heard a crash then silence. for several seconds, sylus stared at his phone.

by the time your shift ended, you were already exhausted. you noticed the missed calls immediately. and the moment you called him back, he answered.

"i am so sorry." you begin trying to explain

"where are you?"

"uh...leaving headquarters?"

"good, when you get outside look to your right."

"why?"

you stepped outside and there he was. leaning against his car like he hadn't just appeared at your workplace without warning.

"sylus?"

"i already ordered you a new phone. your current one is clearly unreliable."

before you could respond his voice cut through again

"now get over here."

you ended the call and crossed over to him.

"are you mad at me?"

"no...i'm irritated."

"because my phone broke?"

he looked over your head off into the distance. "you said you were breaking up with me."

you immediately covered your face. "i was fighting a wanderer."

"yes, i gathered that."

"i said i was breaking—" you pointed at your phone. "—up because the call was breaking up. the wanderer must have been interfering with my signal. "

sylus stared at you for a long moment, then he sighed. "that is incredibly inconvenient."

for the first time throughout this entire situation, you laughed.

"you thought i would randomly break up with you?"

"no." he answered so quickly it caught you off guard. "because that would be stupid, kitten."

"and yet..." you lifted your phone between the two of you, holding it up right in front of his face.

he looked at the cracked screen for a second before plucking it neatly from your hand.

"it looks like i eliminated the greatest threat."

he turned the phone over once, inspecting it with all the seriousness of someone evaluating an enemy combatant.

"you are such an old man."

you stepped into his space and looped your arms around his neck. shaking your head, you leaned up and kissed him.

when you pulled away, he was already slipping the phone into his pocket.

"the new one arrives tomorrow."

caleb answered your call while walking toward the transport bay, his tablet tucked under one arm.

"where are you?" he asked.

you smiled at the immediate question. "hello to you too."

"hello." his tone softened slightly. "now answer the question."

you glanced around your surroundings. "i'm outside."

"outside where?"

"work."

"you're just leaving?"

"yeah. i had to stay late."

"you said that two hours ago." he complained

"and yet here i am."

he huffed quietly, but you could hear the amusement in it. "unbelievable."

"you're one to talk!"

caleb smiled to himself as he listened to you talk. this was the part of missions he hated most—the quiet moments before leaving, when he had to memorize the sound of normal things. you complaining about work and the two of you arguing over nothing.

"anyway," you continued, "i was just calling because i wanted to—"

your voice suddenly felt very far away. caleb pulled the phone away slightly, checking the screen. your id was still glowing right back at him.

"hello?"

"i'm here." your voice came back, but faintly.

stupid reception. of course being so close to the deepspace tunnel. the signal always got weird around this area.

"where did you go?" he asked.

static swallowed half your words.

"i'm breaking" the connection broke then returned for half a second. enough for him to hear the next words clear as day. "up with you"

before he could ask what you meant the call dropped. for a moment, his brain refused to process it. then it did, and the colonel who had faced down impossible missions, hostile enemies, and things most people would never survive—stood completely still in the middle of the transport bay.

caleb never made it onto the airship. he told himself it was because the mission could wait. clarification was more important.

the moment command cleared him, he was already moving. by the time he reached home, he was still in uniform. he didn't even take the time to change. the second the door opened, he was already inside. you barely had time to look up from the couch.

"caleb? why are you—"

you didn't get to finish because he was already crossing the room. and then he was holding you. not a casual hug. not the kind where he pulled you close and teased you about worrying too much. this was desperate. like he needed to feel you breathing before he could believe he was home.

you froze, your arms hovering awkwardly before slowly wrapping around him.

"caleb?"

his grip tightened. "we can't break up." his voice came out rough. "not now...not ever."

but caleb still looked at you serious.

"my love we were losing signal," you said slowly. "i was literally telling you the call was breaking up."

the realization hit him all at once. at the same time you stared at his uniform.

"wait." your eyes narrowed. "did you leave the mission?"

"i thought you were leaving me."

the quiet confession made your heart ache.

you reached up and touched his face. "what did you tell them?"

"that there was a family emergency."

"caleb you cannot be serious?!"

"well it wasnt exactly a lie!"

you laughed softly, shaking your head. "you really scared yourself."

"i know." he said so quiet you almost didn't hear him.

"you cried, didn't you?"

his silence answered for him.

your expression softened turning teasing, "the big bad colonel cried?"

"don't start."

his forehead rested against yours, and for the first time since that awful phone call, he laughed.

"lets hope i don't get fired"

valko had dealt with system failures before. servers crashing. technology malfunctioning at the worst possible moment. he had built an entire company around solving those problems. so when his phone failed him, he took it personally.

the call had started normally. you were on your way home, talking about your day while valko finished up some work.

"you're still in the office?" you asked.

"yes."

"you know, most people leave work eventually."

"most people are not running a company."

"no i am pretty sure even those people go back to their normal lives."

he was still smiling when the call started breaking up. at first, he assumed it was a minor connection issue.

then your voice distorted. "valko, i'm—"

his brows furrowed, turning the speaker off and bringing the phone closer to him.

"i'm breaking up—" the words jumbled together slightly. then the line dropped but right before it did he could have sworn you had said "with you"

valko stared at the screen. for several seconds, he didn't move. then he looked around his office. the same office where his employees had spent years developing cutting-edge technology. and somehow...his own phone had just delivered the worst possible message.

within the next hour, his executive team walked into a meeting expecting quarterly reports. instead, they found valko sitting at the head of the table with his phone placed in front of him.

one employee hesitated before asking. "is there an issue?"

"there is."

everyone became serious. "security breach?" someone said

"no."

"system failure?"

"no...my phone."

the room went silent. "your phone?" his assistant asked

valko nodded. "it malfunctioned."

someone looked confused. "we can replace it."

"that is not the point." valko continued. "it caused unnecessary emotional distress."

one employee slowly realized what happened. "sir."

"no." valko's expression remained completely serious. "i am exploring legal options."

"against who?"

"the manufacturer," valko said evenly. "the network provider. possibly both."

he clasped his hands behind his back and continued pacing.

"i am considering emotional damages."

"valko."

your voice cut cleanly through the room. every head turned toward the office door. one of his assistants had called you the moment valko started pacing around his office, throwing papers across his desk and, according to the assistant's very panicked words, "absolutely raging."

you'd changed directions immediately and came straight to his company. now, standing in the doorway, you looked between the nervous employees and your boyfriend.

"what's going on?" you asked carefully. "your assistant called and said it was an emergency."

the moment valko saw you, every ounce of composure disappeared. he crossed the room in seconds and wrapped his arms around you without a second thought, completely ignoring the audience.

"valko?"

he held you tighter. "explain the phone call."

you frowned, "what phone call?"

"the breakup."

then your eyes widened. "break—" you slapped a hand over your forehead. "oh! i was saying the call was breaking up!"

the office went completely still. valko slowly turned his head toward his employees. then, with all the dignity he could still salvage, he cleared his throat.

"everyone out."

no one argued. laptops, notebooks, coffee mugs—everything was abandoned as the room emptied in record time. when the door clicked shut, only then did valko finally look back at you.

he glanced down, suddenly finding the floor very interesting. "i see..."

you stared at him for exactly three seconds before bursting into laughter.

"you thought i broke up with you? and you were going to sue your own industry as a result?"

he sighed, sat down in his chair, and effortlessly pulled you into his lap.

"you are never letting this go, are you?"

"oh, absolutely not."

a reluctant smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. you brushed a thumb across his cheek, still smiling.

"you owe me an apology."

he considered that then shook his head. "no. you owe me."

"for what?"

he looked at you with complete seriousness. "emotional damages."

you groaned, laughing as you buried your face against his shoulder.

I’ve been seeing some negative posts here and there, and I’d like to say: What is it that some of you get from making people lose hope like that?

“Valko isn’t coming back!”

Oh wow— hey, quick question— How would you know? You a time traveller from the future or something?

I mean— yeah, if we all had that attitude, he probably wouldn’t.

But seriously, why are you shutting others who are fighting down? ESPECIALLY when there’s more than enough reasons to have hope and are closer than ever?

Dude, nobody is forcing you to believe he’ll come back. You have every right to your own thoughts and opinions. But there’s a massive difference between being cautious and actively trying to crush the motivation of people who still care.

There are people putting in effort, keeping the community alive, fighting, and holding onto something that means a lot to them. Why try to take that away? What does anyone gain from telling them, “Stop trying, it’s over” when there’s more than enough evidence that it clearly is not?

Things take time. History has shown us that many movements that eventually succeeded faced people who said, “It’s over,” long before the outcome was decided. If everyone had given up the moment things looked impossible— though in this case, the moment they were closer to success than they’ve ever been— many nations and communities would never have achieved the change they fought for.

Progress happens because people keep believing, organizing, and pushing forward even when results aren’t guaranteed.

I mean— dude… Come on. Look at where we were in June 30th. Angry, upset, hurt, with no clue on if Valko would ever come back, no progress because what happened had just happened, and we were all processing.

We could’ve given up then. Accepted that it was over. Walked away. Stopped caring.

But we didn’t.

People kept talking, kept supporting each other, kept fighting the trolls, boycotted LaDS, brought Valko back to life with art, fanfics, edits, and so many other creative ways— it’s insane.

Now, look around. A lot of the trolls have been exposed. We know some of the masterminds behind this. Infold’s revenue has reached a new low— which shows on their market response data, revenue trend analysis, and customer retention statistics. They’d know that something is wrong either way.

The government— THE LITERAL GOVERNMENT— has literally made an article that cleared Valko and basically gave Infold and PPG the thumbs up to put him in the game if they want to.

We are not anywhere near where we were on June 30th. We’ve kept going up from then.

So why are you acting like the story is over when we’ve got a much higher chance of Valko coming back? When it’d be like a miner stopping just as he was about to strike diamond. Why would we walk away a swing away from the diamond?

None of this would’ve likely happened if we had given up on June 30th. If everyone says nothing will change and stops fighting, then you’re right. It won’t. Nothing changes unless people care enough to take action. Even small efforts matter, because progress depends on the people who refuse to stand by and do nothing.

Clearly, we care.

Clearly, we’re all putting in so much effort.

Clearly, that effort matters and is making an impact.

People don’t keep fighting for something they don’t care about. They do it because it means something to them. Because they believe there is still a chance. Because they know that giving up immediately would guarantee that nothing changes.

So instead of tearing people down, why not let them hope? Why not let them try?

You don’t have to believe the same thing. You don’t have to be optimistic. But there is no reason to mock or discourage the people who are still putting their time, creativity, and passion into keeping Valko’s name alive and bringing him back.

At the end of the day, nobody knows exactly what will happen.

But one thing is certain: Nothing has ever changed because everyone decided to give up.

So those of you who are victim to such posts, don’t give up. There’s a HIGH chance of Valko coming back after everything. We need to keep fighting. We need to show them that we aren’t giving up— especially now that we are closer than we’ve ever been. Do not give up.

Because change doesn’t happen because people sit back and wait for things to improve on their own. It happens because people are willing to show that something matters.

And whether Valko’s return happens tomorrow, months from now, or in a way nobody expects, one thing remains true:

We gave it our all.

We showed that we cared.

We kept him alive through everything we did.

We are all filled with so much love and passion inside.

And that alone is something nobody can take away from us.

Don’t mistake hope for foolishness. Because hope is what keeps people moving forward. At the end of the day, the only guaranteed way for someone to fail is for everyone to stop trying.

So to everyone still here: keep caring, keep creating, keep supporting, keep fighting, and keep believing.

The story isn’t over until it’s actually over.
