CHEW your food longer and lose weight faster You should chew everything you eat at least 8-12 times. Eat slowly. Your body doesn’t realize that you’ve had enough to eat until several minutes after you’ve had it.

Use baby utensils to prevent overeating Use smaller plates instead of big ones to limit your meal or portion sizes and also use baby forks or spoons so that’ll force you to take smaller bites which will make your meal last longer plus you FEEL full quicker on less calories.
High Carb or High Protein for fast weight loss? IF you workout at least 3-to-4 times a week… You want to eat more complex carbs by making sure only 30-to-40% of your calories come from lean proteins & healthy fats so you can have the extra energy to workout longer, burn more calories and lose more weight but on the other hand… If you want to lose weight without exercising - then a higher protein diet (where only 30-to-40% of your calories are from carbs) will help you lose weight fast (see fast weight loss tip #7 to see why) but the smartest way to lose weight fast is to probably… Eat High carbs on your workout days and High protein on your Non-workout days.
Eat and run walk Take a 5-10 minute walk after each meal. It doesn’t have to be a walk, but any activity will do.
Please Avoid sodas - Even Diet sodas Since regular soda is basically a weight gainer drink and since water is a 0 calorie weight loss drink - You would lose 1 pound every week if you replaced 2 bottles of soda with 2 bottles of water so go here to see how to stop drinking soda and… Some studies now link high consumption of diet soda with weight gain because even though diet sodas have 0 calories… The artificial sweeteners increase your cravings for sugars and other foods that make you gain weight.
And Don’t Drink Juice ! It’s better to eat raw fruit instead of fruit juice because fruits contain more fiber and the juice will always contain more sugar than the actual fruit and just like soda… You can also lose up to an extra pound a week by replacing juice with water since most juice drinks are mainly just water & sugar.
Don’t sit down for more than 4 hours According to researchers at Missouri University - sitting down or being virtually inactive for longer than 4 hours slows down your metabolism making it easier for you to store fat so to prevent this from happening try standing up for at least 10 minutes within every 4 hours and you don’t have to worry about doing this while sleeping
Say “So that” Everyday Ask yourself Why you want to lose weight and after you come up with a reason why… Just keep on saying SO THAT. For example - Why Do you want to lose weight…
  * I want to lose weight to look better SO THAT…   * I can feel more confident about myself SO THAT…   * I can be the best looking person at my high school reunion SO THAT…   * I can see the surprised looks on the faces of my classmates SO THAT…   * I may be able to go on a date with the person I had a crush on in high school
Can you see what’s happening here? The more times you say SO THAT the more and more motivated you’ll become to lose weight. I don’t know about you but… If you can come up with at least three SO THAT’S  - nothing will stop you from losing weight.
Don’t ask yourself “What’s the best workout I can do” and…   * Ask yourself “What’s the best workout I can do that will kick my ass in only 20-to-40 minutes” (hint: High intensity intervals) and…   * Ask yourself “What workout can I do where I almost feel like quitting but I push myself to finish because I’m 100% focused on looking good naked” and…   * Once you answer that… Do that workout 1-to-2 times a day 3-to-4 days a week and I guarantee you’ll always lose at least 2 pounds of FAT each week even if you only have 10 pounds of stubborn fat to lose.
Add 15%
Walking at a 15% incline on your treadmill can burn 3 times as many calories as you would walking without an incline so imagine how much more fat you would burn if you run on a treadmill at a 15% incline.
. Keep Records
Researchers at the University of Arkansas found out during a 13 week study that people who kept detailed records of what they ate lost 3.5 pounds more than those who didn’t because it helped them accurately estimate their protion sizes so they could eat just enough to make them lose more weight.

Don’t let plastic make you fat Plastics contain synthetic chemicals (called BPA & phthalates) that act like estrogen in your body and estrogen is basically a fat-gaining hormone you’d want to limit when trying to lose weight so to prevent these estrogen-like chemicals from getting into your body…
  * Avoid drinking out of plastic containers & Styrofoam cups and…   * Avoid heating plastic containers in microwaves & ovens which can leach the estrogen like chemicals into your foods and…   * Avoid plastic wrapped meats and…   * Avoid canned foods which contain traces of BPA.

“That dress is perfect! Now we just have to make sure you don’t gain any weight before July because it’s already pretty tight” -my mom and aunt as I was trying on bridesmaid dresses, age 13
“Don’t worry, she was a bigger girl. Not really my type, know what I mean?” -my ex talking about his ex girlfriend, age 16
“Has she gained weight? Man, she’s really letting herself go. I mean, she used to be so pretty” -my friend talking about his ex, age 20
“Babe you gotta take it easy on the sugar! That’s how you get a big belly like (coworker), *laughs*” -my boyfriend on an ice cream date, age 21
Every time you made a fat-shaming comment, no matter who the target was, you taught me my ED mindset. You taught me that the world will love me less if I’m fat. You taught me that pretty equals skinny. You praised me when I was low weights and cautioned me when I was gaining. So don’t turn it around on me asking me how this could have happened:
what did you expect?
It turns out
You will lose weight if you eat at a caloric deficit. Period.
Basic laws of thermodynamics and the universe say in a closed system,
Energy in = energy out
Your body spends energy by existing -- breathing, walking, talking, getting up to go to the bathroom, chewing on your food, pumping blood to your organs. Every single action requires energy (calories)!
There's something called TDEE, or total daily energy expenditure. It's a calculation of how much energy it requires for you to function and stay at the same weight. Obviously, it matters what heigh and weight you are -- the taller and heavier you are, the more calories you require to simply exist. You can find TDEE calculators all over the internet simply by googling.
So for example:
5'4" female @140lb: 1668 calories
5'0" female @110lb: 1429 calories
What does this mean?
In order for you to lose weight, you just need to eat less than your TDEE.
This is basic physics. The laws of the universe do not change. If you eat less than TDEE, you will lose weight, no buts or ifs. If you "binge" eat 1600 calories, but your TDEE is 1660, you will not gain weight (permanently). It's just not possible (see my notes on water weight below if you have doubts).
1lb of fat is approximately 3500 calories of deficit. In other words, that's a 500 cal deficit per day, for one week, to lose one pound.
So if your TDEE is 1600, if you eat 1100 calories everyday, you lose one pound in a week.
"But I ate at 1000cal/day and I gained .5lb this morning!!!!"
Weight is so dependent on your sodium intake, hormonal levels, what food you've eaten that day that one single scale reading means NOTHING.
Here's a picture of the scale readings over the past two months for me.
See how it fluctuates like crazy? What's important is the general trend-- although one day I may "gain" 2lbs, one week later I'll be 3lbs below that "heavy" weight. I actually recommend stepping on the scale every day, at the same time. It helps move away from "omg I gained 3lbs!!!!" and let's you accurately identify if you are actually losing weight.
So for all you people who are stressed out about eating too much, just do some basic math. Chances are, you can eat a reasonable amount and LOSE WEIGHT. For me, if I try to eat 500cal a day, I do it for one day, then binge eat the next day and ruin my progress. One pound per week may seem slow, but consider how long you e hated your weight, compared to how quickly it'll drop off.
I've hated my weight for almost 8 years now, and in just two months I've dropped 1/3 of the weight I wanted to, while eating at 1200calories a day. In that context, 6 more months of this? Easy!
1200 calories: That's a lot of food! You can eat properly with that! For example one day:
Breakfast
Coffee with condensed milk (60)
Oatmeal (150)
2boiled eggs (140)
Lunch
1cup chicken teriyaki (150)
Broccoli (50)
4 lychees (100)
Dinner
One whole avocado (220)
2 slices of bread (180)
1/2 carton halo top (140)
In conclusion: you can eat a reasonable amount of food and still lose weight (faster than restricting, bc there's wayyy less binges). Your caloric intake will depend on your height and weight-- a 5'0 woman and a 5'6" woman should not be eating the same amount.
