I made my first mom friend

Organically, no less! I’m actually really excited about this. I go to a yoga studio called Blooma about 3x a week for prenatal yoga classes and I’ve been in a class with this chick a few times. Her due date is one day before mine and we’ve actually talked after class a couple times. Makes me happy because at 30... you don’t really make new friends, period, let alone specific friends who you may run into post-birth at plenty of new mama classes and stuff.

I’m just excited to report that that’s all :)

Aw! And tonight at yoga she asked me if I’d be partaking in the free “new mom” classes they offer at our yoga and barre studio post-partum! I’m glad we’re both planning to - it’ll be nice to see a familiar face and both be able to escape the house with our nuggets. Weird that this is my very near future. Wow.

After months of practice, im thrilled to say I can finally curl my hair with a straightener!!

My two best friends have been on the outs with each other since March 8th. I can’t believe this is still going on and tbh it’s affecting me so much more than I thought it would. My baby shower is in two weeks and I’m so sad they won’t be sitting at the same table. I’m just down about it. I really thought they’d sort it out by now.
