the chris storyline in the the legend of tennessee moltisanti is SO compelling. haunted by brutal nightmares of the man he killed, thinking that he has cancer because something inside him feels wrong and sick and not being able to connect it to the violence he's committed and spends his life surrounded by, getting no real pleasure or joy out of life and so he fixates on recognition and notoriety because it's the only thing he can get out of all this. so so good.
