All of the cages and tanks shown above are entirely too small and lack many of the things needed for the pets they are intended to hold, yet they have become very popular in the homes of pet owners who didn’t look into the specific needs of their animals. Don’t make your pets suffer by failing to provide the proper care that they require. If giving your pet a suitable habitat is too expensive for you, then don’t buy the animal, it’s simple.

There are a lot of times I feel like just…flipping the vegan script.

It’s not ‘polyester’ it’s plastic

It’s not ‘vegan leather’ it’s plastic

Its not ‘faux fur’ it’s plastic

Plastic is a pollutant and causes far more damage to the environment both now and in the future than leather or wool.

Please stop telling me that the Plastic Lyfe is the only life, it is not. My leather shoes will last a decade where pleather is lucky to last 12 months. Leather (and wool) decompose and are renewable. Plastic is neither of those.

All of this is propaganda. As for fur: Chinchillas, foxes and many other beautiful creatures are kept in small wire cages, until they are electrocuted through their anus for slaughter. Fur farms have a huge impact on the environment so does leather because cows consume 8 times more then humans. Think about how much water and land is used for just 1 cow and multiple that times a billion. Also You can make leather from pineapples and fur like products from other sustainable materials.

I lived on a sheep farm for 2 years and yes they are very violent with the sheep and most have large cuts after being sheared and all of them are slaughtered. Man has manipulated sheep and chickens to make more wool and eggs. The chickens reproductive organs can not sustain health while producing 200 plus eggs a year, because their bodies naturally made 12-20 a year. Egg stuck in their reproductive organs is an extremely common cause of death for chickens. Tons of Bees die during the harvesting of honey and its standard practice of the queen bee to have her wings ripped off so she can't leave captivity.

Humans have manipulate and forced animals to be used for our pleasure which has contributed heavily to our climate crisis, when there are alternatives that are healthier for our environment. Don't believe the human lie exploiting innocent animals doesn't help the environment, actually animal ag is the leading contributor to methane, water and air pollution. Most slaughterhouses choose to pollute the poor neighborhoods, and have multiple human rights violations. Please educate yourself.

Ps. Zero waste is huge in the vegan community. These plastic products are largely bought by nonvegans to transition away from exploiting the innocent.
