Biography

Marissa Eloise Cross was born on January 23rd, 2082, to Edwin and Evangeline Marshall. From a young age, she showed great interest in becoming a student of medicine. However, when the War Of Shadows plagued Illyria, she was more than unqualified when faced with the task of stitching and patching up her mother and father.

When she was 7, that same year, her uncle Eion sent for her. He was her mother’s younger brother and her only living relative in light of the Aessesian and Illyrian bombings. She went to live in Granger Capital and reluctantly settled in to life there. When she was 9, she helped her new found little sister come to grips with the bundle of joy they, and a nanny, had been left in charge of.

As life carried on, Marissa ignored the corrupt politics all around her and kept her head in books. She was aggressive with herself in regards to remaining focused on her studies, but all of that changed when she was promised to Sylar Cross. He was the most sought-after man in the capital and for some odd reason, he wanted her. If it was a power play to keep House Roon in line and safely tucked under the thumb of the Cross’, she couldn’t tell. She slowly came to the realization that she didn’t care. For the first time since her parents died, she felt like someone could see her and it was a heady experience.

She married Sylar Cross and everything fell into place for her; she was hired into the best hospital in the capital; she was the envy of all her classmates; she finally felt settled into Lothumbrian soil, no longer the Illyrian girl in a strange strange world. But again, everything changed after she found out what her dear deceptive husband was doing with her dear little sister. She kept her knowledge of their affair a secret, assuming it was two-sided and consensual. It wasn’t until the night of her sister’s disappearance that she learned the truth, overhearing a conversation she wasn’t meant to.

Biography

Father Stephen Morganis is the only surviving teacher of the Origin Religion, in Illyria. The Origin Religion is much like the one Elder Oni’s tribe practiced, in Africa. They don’t believe in any man-made gods, only the one true Creator who riddled life on Earth with very exact and precise traces of math and geometry.

Stephen holds the gift of Origin Magic, meaning he is mastered in the art of channeling from multiple artifacts. He is also the reason for Lothumbria’s attacks on Illyria, seeing as he was charged with hiding an artifact 21 years ago. He was fresh out of the Origin Academy where young men dedicated themselves and their lives to all things Origin.

He’s a wild card, a loose canon, highly unpredictable, and has no friends or allies to be named. He is the last of his kind and he holds in his hands the very key to ending life as it is known.

His entire world becomes anew when he runs into a young man who reminds him of who he used to be before Origin got a hold to him. He must decide if he will continue to hide this secret, destroy it, or hand it over to the men who will set their world on fire.

Lisbeth (Beth for short) Lucille Roon wasn’t born. She was created. In Lothumbria’s brewing war with Illyria, they have always had the upper hand in cybernetics. Beth was a prototype, a highly-functioning prototype, an invention at the turning point of the War Of Shadows. What is the War Of Shadows, one might ask. It is the silent war in which Lothumbria began not even half a decade after the destruction of the Essenes.

With their hands in the pockets of advanced stem cell research, they were able to create a synth that would age just as humans do. They used stem cells from what was recovered of the late Elizabeth Roon and upon learning this, Evangard Cross ordered they destroy it. However, Eion had a friend in the science department who delivered the shiny-eyed bundle of joy straight to him instead. Evangard scrapped the entire project soon after, his reasoning being that synths that grow as humans do are more likely to experience life in the same way that humans do and it could be dangerous if synths thought they had the same amount of free will that humans did. A war simply couldn’t be won with synths that thought they were humans because they made the mistake of giving them a human experience.

Eion kept the truth about Beth so deeply embedded into the inner recesses of his mind that not even she knows the truth about herself. At some point, she will stop aging and he isn’t ready for the talk he’ll be forced to have when she does. Out of the three girls, Beth is easily the most free-spirited. She also received the most coddling, and not just from her father, but at the hands of her older sisters. 

The fact that she’s only 16 keeps her off of Carrick Spelling’s radar. She, however feels personally responsible for the disappearance of her best friend who was very much on his radar. The two teens were out for malts one night and Beth mistakenly babbled aloud that since Kierson was 17, she was now vulnerable to male suitors. And up waltzed the charming shark himself.

Within a week, Kierson was in danger of being pre-promised to Carrick. The next day, she was gone. Since Kierson’s disappearance, Beth has become more withdrawn. She’s even gone as far as to skip school in search of danger and, with that, she is on the precipice of finding out the truth about herself. It isn’t until she meets an older synth that she begins to see the truth.

What makes you different from other rps that look just like yours?

The fact that we’ll last.

Our graphics aren’t as pretty as the RPs that are currently in the tags and we may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but we can guarantee that there will always be someone online. Someone to write with and share your ideas and talk to.

We can guarantee that you’ll continuously be trying to figure out the plot and guessing what’s going to happen IC and OOC. 

Yeah, it’s slow right now and we don’t have any characters aside from the ones the admins play, but once we start moving, we don’t want to stop. We won’t stop.

Personally, I want this to RP to be that RP that continuously keeps your attention. Something that makes you wanna log in on mobile and check every 30 minutes. 

Dare I say it, I want this place to spark the movement in bringing back the way Tumblr RP used to be. 

No tea, no shade--but I think a lot of people just make RPs to say they made an RP. I want this to reunite the entire RP community, even if they all don’t join.

It has been 40 years since Xander’s creation, and in those 40 years he has seen and done some unbelievable things. Men who claim to be better than him, the men who created him, are not even half as good as he is. He may not age like them or feel the way that they feel but if there’s one thing he isn’t, it’s foolish. The politicians that assign him to do terrible things, they are foolish, for they entrust the task of getting bloody to what they dub as a simple machine.

Is he not meant for more than what he’s used for? He wonders. Is he not meant to do more than just the Hierarchy's bidding? It isn’t just him wishing to be a real boy, like in that one story from his database. He was never given the options to explore and he wasn’t meant to feel as though he should. Maybe he’s malfunctioning.

Xander knows he is more than a simple machine. He knew it when he shot down that helicopter, he knew it when he helped Sylar Cross locate Ezra St. James on the night of the murder, he knew it when he bumped into the little growing synth during her personal mission to start trouble, and he knows it even when he sets off to hunt down said little growing synth’s older sister.

He may be many things, he may have done many things, but the synth is most definitely on the precipice of self-re-programming and swaying to the side of the good guys. But he isn’t quite there yet. It’s going to take killing a hell of a lot of bottom-feeders and seeing, maybe experiencing, a hell of a lot of very human emotions in order to sway him to Alice’s side.

As a child, Osric tended to be mature for his age, giving him difficulty fitting in, which may have led to his lone wolf mentality going into his teen years. After his parents lost their jobs, Osric ran away and lived on the streets, stealing and breaking entering to survive. Inevitably, Osric was arrested and put in a juvenile delinquent facility where he continued to have disaggrements to his peers before demonstrating superior skills in theft, and larceny, having escaped a secure juvenile facility twice before being moved to an Aessensian prison where he quickly rose among the ranks of the prisoners, garnering respect. Despite having no formal training, Osric is a proven autodidact with a more effective education than those given to normal Aessensian children.

Osric discovered that he had the ability to drain life from others during a conflict in prison. after being locked away on punishment with a fellow prisoner, for a set number of days, Osric was found surrounded by dust and the guards described the smell like a rotting corpse, though there was nothing but ash present.

After the Lothumbrian government found Osric’s profile during screening for capable recruits for their infiltration into Illyria, Osric, unknowingly found himself at the top of the list. Recruited into the Lothumbrian intelligence agency, Osric continued to excel, ranking among the higher performers in his platoon, graduating in the top ten agents trained that entire year.

Osric was described as aloof and cold by his fellows. And the rumors of his powers didn’t make it any easier for them to relate to him, though none of them had ever seen Osric demonstrate any supernatural capabilities, rumors slithered through Lothumbrian barracks about his ability to kill with a touch. Osric hasn’t commented. The mystery surrounding the debate concerning whether he does or does not have abilities earned him the nickname OZ among his peers which Osric detests greatly.

Osric is stoic and distant in communication and economic with his words. Hardened by his life, Osric is convinced that no one in life has any operation than to hurt him, and thus, he is constantly on guard, ready to bite any hand that may come too close.
