The moment he finds out you’re pregnant, Satoru is stunned silent… until, “Wait. WAIT. I did that?? I’m incredible.”

He immediately becomes overprotective to an absurd degree. Six eyes on you at all times. Knows when your blood pressure changes before you do.

Refuses to let you lift anything. You reach for a mug? “Absolutely not. I’ve got it. Sit. Relax. Breathe.” (no more teasing about being short)

Your cravings become his mission. Middle of the night? Different city? Another continent? “Don’t worry, baby, I’ll be back in five.” Talks to you and your belly 24/7. “You’re gonna be so strong. Obviously. Look at me.” “Don’t kick too hard in there, yeah? She needs rest.” “I hope you get her smile. And maybe my eyes. Okay, definitely my eyes."

“…They’re real. That’s our kid.” “It’s okay. I’ve got you. Always.” “You feel that? That’s my cursed energy. You’re safe. Always.” “You know you’re doing something amazing, right? Like… way more impressive than anything I’ve ever done.”

“If anything ever happens… I want you to know I chose this. I choose you. Every time.”

He gets gentler. Less teasing. Longer hugs. Holds your face like he’s memorising it. “If I could choose one place to exist forever,” he murmurs, “it’d be right here.” He kisses your temple. Then your stomach. “Be good to her, okay?”

After being unsealed, he starts saying things that feel… heavier.

“You’re stronger than you think.” “No matter what, you won’t be alone.” “Promise me you’ll keep living. Fully.”

He left. Forever.

He recorded messages. One for you, one for his baby.

“I’m sorry I didn’t get to finish this life with you. Loving you was the best thing I ever did.”

“Hey. I’m your dad. I wish I could teach you everything myself… but your mom? She’s incredible. Listen to her.”

Toji stares at the bed in silence. Too many plushies. All on his side.

He pinches the bridge of his nose, looks at you dead serious.

"Oh my god, if you buy one more plushie to occupy my spot in bed, I'm kicking you out to sleep on the couch."

You blink. "Excuse me?"

He points at the bed. "That..." he nudges a plush with his foot "... is lookin' real comfortable for someone who doesn't pay rent."

You grab one plush and hug it to your chest out of spite. "He was here first."

"Yeah?" he mutters, climbing into bed, his arms locking you into place, "Then he can watch."

"Get up you're snoring and I can't hear the movie."

Nanami doesn't move at first. Then there's a slow inhale and a long exhale.

"…I was resting my eyes," he says, half-asleep.

"You were snoring, Kento. Like—aggressively. I missed two entire lines of dialogue."

He opens one eye and glances at the TV. "Then turn it up."

You turn to him. "So you can yell at me for waking you up? No."

"You woke me up anyway," he mutters, pushing himself upright and rubbing his face. His tie is loosened, glasses slightly crooked, messy hair which only happens when he’s actually relaxed.

He reaches for the remote and increases the volume himself. "There, compromise."

He leans back again, except this time, instead of dozing off, he pulls you with him, arm around your waist.

"If I fall asleep again,” he murmurs, eyes already closing, “wake me up."

"Even though you're tired."

"Yes."

"You’re unbelievable."

His thumb brushes absent-minded circles on you stomach. The movie keeps playing.

Nanami doesn't snore again, but you feel his grip tighten slightly every time a scene gets loud, like he's anchoring himself just enough to stay awake.

"Move, you're on my side of the couch."

He doesn't move. At all. If anything, he sinks deeper into the couch, long legs stretching out.

"Hmm? Pretty sure couches don't have sides."

"They do when I'm on them. Move. You're on my side."

He finally turns his head, blindfold tilted just enough to look smug. "Your side?"

"Yes, my body was there first."

Gojo gasps loudly and dramatically with one hand flying to his chest. "So now we're arguing possession? After everything we've been through?"

You push harder. He budges maybe an inch. Maybe. "Gojo."

"Okay, okay," he sighs, shifting just enough to comply, while still keeping an arm behind you and his knee pressed against yours. "There. Problem solved."

You stare. "You didn't move."

"I moved emotionally."

Before you can argue, he pulls you onto his lap. "There," he cheers. "Now we're both on your side."

You groan as he grins, resting his chin on your head.
