PNC Rolls Out First Ever Portable Pop-Up Branch

At only 160 square feet, this portable, temporary bank is so small -- smaller than most people's bedrooms -- that it fits on a sidewalk.

As fans of temporary tattoos and non-permanent hair dye can attest, sometimes people want to try a new look without making a commitment. It was in that spirit of experimentation that PNC opened an orange-and-blue pop-up branch on the sidewalk of a busy Atlanta outdoor mall last summer.

Tips on How to Pack a Suitcase Efficiently

After a decade of traveling executing mobile tours a lot of tips and tricks have been road tested.  This nice piece of content from Holiday Inn has a few new ones that might be worth trying.  Oh, and if you can do the thing with a shirt you are truely impressive.

The one tip we always give new staff is to never pack more than they can carry up a flight of stairs in one trip.  The result is usually a suitcase and backpack.  A seasoned tour staff will get this down to a carryon bag and a backpack.  The tip helps keep things in check for a 3 week or 3 month mobile tour.  It also helps keep tired staff from leaving gear in the vehicles that could encourage a break in.

Google Glass is just months from hitting store shelves, but the search giant is eager to get the device into consumers' hands. Its first public demonstrations were held in Durham, N.C. Upstart Business Journal got one of the first demos. VIDEO
