Tout ce que le peuple connaissait, ce qu'il aimait, ce qu'il touchait, ce qu'il mangeait, chair, étoffes, bois, murs, la terre, l'air, tout, transformé en flamme, en lumière, était dans cette odeur. Une odeur dont nul ne pourra se souvenir, car rien ne la rappelle, mais que personne n'oubliera, car elle a brûlé les narines, séché les poumons. C'était une odeur de monde qui naît ou qui meurt, une odeur d'étoile.

Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life… But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin’ else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you’ve got heroin?

Choose a zero hour contract, a two hour journey to work. And choose the same for your kids, only worse, and smother the pain with an unknown dose of an unknown drug made in somebody’s kitchen And then… take a deep breath. You’re an addict, so be addicted Just be addicted to something else. Choose the ones you love. Choose your future. Choose life.
