She scooted closer to him as they watched the movie. It was so weird being so close to him, but in a good way. In the best way, really. Eventually, Molly ended up falling asleep as she leaned against him. It was unintentional. She just didn’t realize how tired she was.

Fernando quietly enjoyed the movie, watching it with Molly leaning against him. It was only as the first movie ended and the second begun did he realise Molly was asleep on him. Grabbing her pillow he placed it on his lap before he gently lay her down, putting her head on the pillow before he went back to watching the movie.

Molly woke up toward the end of the second movie and when she opened her eyes, she was looking at Fernando’s chin. She was resting in his lap, and she grinned a little. “Hi... sorry I fell asleep,” she muttered and lightly touched his arm.

Molly shrugged. “I was a probability because I wouldn’t want to climb all those stairs up to my dorm after watching so many movies and being so tired,” she said and leaned her head against his arm.

“I can understand how that would be a pain.” He replied, draping his arm over Molly’s shoulders as he continued to watch the movie.

I’m still not used to jumping straight into Christmas. I don’t think I’ll ever be used to not getting ready for Thanksgiving. We should have a Thanksgiving feast here.

“I think it’s cute. But if you have to question it, you don’t really love it.”

“I thought you were staying here no matter what?” Fernando replied, glancing at Molly before he smiled, his eyes flitting up to the screen.

“I’ll be fine without going to see a nurse.”

Puck sighed and looked down at the ground.

“Ho-kay.”

“Right. Anyway, I should go before this ice starts dripping all over the place.”

“Like I said, I don’t know.” He smiled, looking down at the girl before Fernando reached out and took her hand in his, holding it in between them, his eyes drifting up to watch the movie. “Maybe I can stay here tonight. I’ll just stick my leg in my sleeping bag.”

Molly grinned when Fernando took her hand, and she entwined their fingers together. His hands were so nice and warm... Perfect for holding. “Yeah?” she asked, looking up at him. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to. But if you stay here, I will, too.”

Have you been ‘round the hospital wing yet? Because you should probably do that. So your eye can…stop.

“It’ll be fine with the ice. The swelling will go down by itself. No need for magic.”

Dear Fernando,

First off, happy birthday! Second, I hope this gift is okay, considering I had a limited time to find you something, and I do not have the ability to make incredible homemade ice cream. This is my copy of Good Omens, and I’m sure you can see it has been a very loved copy. I remember telling you this is my favourite book, and I think you will enjoy it. At least I hope you are not offended by it. The book, after all, is a work of satire. And don’t for a moment think of giving it back to me when you’ve finished. I’ve read it so many times, and books deserved to be loved and taken in by new eyes every so often.

“Honestly I suck at birthdays and Christmas, I never know what to say.” He replied, shaking his head at the girl.

Molly chuckled a little. "So am I. Unless I know something that someone likes or wants, I usually end up giving people gift cards, which only exist in the muggle world..." She hummed a little. "I'll come up with something before Sunday."

She chuckled a little. “Well, it still looks like you take care of it.” She took her own spoon and took a bite of the ice cream. “Amazing birthday, really…” Her cheeks turned a little red, and she ate another bite. “What do you want to do for your birthday? It’s only a couple days away.”

“I have no clue. My parents sent me an owl asking me that last week.” He replied, giving a small shrug as he absentmindedly tapped his spoon against his bottom lip. “At least we’re both at a fair advantage with birthdays in that we both had no time.”
