I’m seeing some people be concerned over how many of us relate to this, but man, this is what it’s like working in retail/customer service in the States. You can’t just let it out at people, you have to pull that emotional labor and put on a friendly face. Suck it up and smile. And when it’s all over you cry in the car because you’re exhausted from having to put up with shit. Is it healthy? Probably not, but it’s what many people experience.
