Absorption

Empath - a word I discovered in recent years and now wholeheartedly identify with. Empaths are highly sensitive people who make up less than 5% of the population. We sense energy at such a high level it can feel like a superpower at times. To me, it represents my biggest strength; the reason I am who I am and why I’m good at what I’m good at. But it also brings it’s challenges; I have to be mindful about boundaries so I don’t take on or absorb too much. 

It is something that I am hugely appreciative of. But I have to stay conscious every day and do things to protect my energy.
