L’Acqua di San Giovanni (St. John’s Water) 🌼

In Italy, on the night between June 23rd and 24th, it’s tradition to prepare St. John’s Water: an ancient custom blending Christian tradition and folk magic. You leave flowers and aromatic herbs in a bowl of water outside overnight, under the open sky. In the morning, you wash your face with it — it’s said to bring luck, health, and keep the evil eye away. We’re not ruling anything out. 🌿✨

would you happen to have any tips for beginners who want to start making clothes/miniatures for critters? ૮₍ ´˶• ᴥ •˶` ₎ა

A mix of water+vynil glue on the edges to avoid the frail is a great tip I wish I had

Make little cuts around the curves (collars, sleeves) so you won’t cry for help later (bonus: you can also iron them down first and then sew)

nobody stops you to glue the f down of those little pieces of cloths

if you sew by hand please consider backstitching

There’s a pdf with a lot of patterns on reddit, made by an user and I use them for tshirts and pants cause I like the wearability better than official book patterns

If you have never sewn before don’t worry but learn some basic first so you can understand how the pattern works
