How fortuitous that the Year of the Tiger matches up with a Tiger Tuesday! Happy Lunar New Year, all. It's been a while, I hope everyone is doing well. I bought some metallic watercolors, and thought they'd be perfect for the traditional red and gold. With an in progress shot.

I just need to ink this, I actually forgot that I had it all sketched out, haha! Incomplete for right now, because I want to ensure I post while it's still May (at least where I am).

My big project was going to be my Ammit for May. This is where we're at...So yeah, expect that in a future date.

I had tried to get a few pieces done beforehand; the two today (yes, two! Making up for a missed day), were mostly finished sketches, they just needed some finishing touches. Fairly traditional mermaid, I just really wanted to draw some flowing hair.  Second, making up for a missed day: "flying." Tried so many things with that hand; wasn't happy with any of them. Also, second arm? What second arm? ::Shh!::

So as noted in a previous post, I had to move all my furniture. This is because of work that was being done, which was - of course - delayed. I was hoping to get everything back in place so that I could complete some pieces I was saving for the end of Mermay. Go out with a bang, as it were. Sadly, since I have only this evening unearthed my art supplies and my computer, y'all are gonna get some WIPs -_-

Finally (mostly) colored this octohead from last year's Mermay. I liked the face around the eyes, but I think I've messed up a bit on the cheeks.

Meh, not feeling it today; I've spent the last two days moving almost every piece of furniture I own -_- Luckily, I had mostly pre-done some work over the weekend, but didn't get a chance to prepare anything for Wednesday. So have some odd sketches. (Pre-posting because I’m still moving stuff around.)

A birthday mermaid I did for a 6-year old last year. I cut it out, but of course that doesn't really show on a scan; so I (sort of) filled in the background, because I didn't like all that white. What do you like better?
