Reminder that the "protesters" who interrupted Bernie Sanders were not actually representing #BlackLivesMatter
The official BlackLivesMatter page apologized and said that they werenât affiliated so you can stop spreading false bullshit now
Also remember that even though they werenât affiliated Bernie Sanders got in contact with BlackLivesMatter, asked if there was anything he could do to improve, found out what he needed to work on for their support, and is in the process of working on it. He even hired a member of BlackLivesMatter as his press secretary.

So the guy listens if you get his attention, so even though the protestors werenât a part of black lives matter they got his attention, got him to release an actual plan for what they were protesting for, and that plan is getting approval from BlackLivesMatter.

The women are actually from Outside Agitators 206, a local activist group aligned with/inside of BLM that includes âyouth, students, workers, parents, teachers, artists, street philosophers, survivalists, revolutionaries, solutionaries, Queer, Â Black, Brown, Indigenous, and White Allies.â They released a statement on their blog.Â

If affiliated is good enough for you, then I dunno. I DO think you still have to give Sanders credit for accepting feedback from BLM and wanting to improve. Misinformation is everywhere butâŠ. man, at least thatâs true.

ok but think about how many more college tuitions could be paid off with the amount of money spent by Coca Cola, Apple, Geico, Sony, Toyota, Disney, Verizon, L'Oreal, AT&T, Dove etc on advertisement, and realise that singling out minion advertisement simply because it is an Internet trend to hate minions is pretty silly. I love her but if youâre going to address the exorbitant amounts of money put into marketing today, address all of it. Donât just call out the parts that are trendy to call out.

I actually did the math and the amount advertisers and marketers spend per year in America ($160 billion) would pay for about 16 million students to go to an in-state school. Now, that isnât /every/ student (there are around 20 million college students in the US), and in-state tuition isnât exorbitant (about $10,000 per year). But, yeah, we could make college free for most current students with the amount of money we spend to affect consumer behavior in the US and that is pretty weird.
